That or the termites get it.![]()
No pressure thenOnly problem is I'm going to have to make several prototypes out of more common wood before I go anywhere near this wood.
When there is only 80lbs of something on earth and I've got 15 lbs of it... If I screw this up...![]()

It wouldn't do any good it's too dense. You are going to need to stabilize that wood...
Checked on it, out of stock right now.The Malstorm is 15 ucks at Origin vape is what I was trying to say earlier.
Well night everyone, that's my cue for beddy byes...Em's is back. Hard work putting them panels on that mod, my day is never done. Night everyone, night retired, hmm, I feel a new bromance coming on.![]()

Speaking of really dense wood, I have a small chunk of Ironwood from Mexico hiding around here somewhere. I wonder what it would take to turn that into a mod box...It wouldn't do any good it's too dense.
If you can solder it's silly easy to make a mod nowadays.Speaking of really dense wood, I have a small chunk of Ironwood from Mexico hiding around here somewhere. I wonder what it would take to turn that into a mod box...

Oddly enough, it wasn't the electronics that I was worried about. I know I can do that. My worry was whether or not I can carve the Ironwood. If you can solder it's silly easy to make a mod nowadays.
The dna75 board is 40$
A fat daddy vapes 510 is 4-5$
3-5$ for a switch.

Not really. Technique is slightly different for just soldering wires versus soldering sensitive electronic components (like an IC/chip) on the circuit board. You can use a 50W iron for one and a 10W iron with tiny tip for the other. I am sure there must be videos of How to Solder somewhere on the web.Is soldering hard to learn?

Phone corrected mosfet.
I think that's the style I want to build.

Yeah, I have some, but I would be much more likely to use a Dremel with a sanding drum (about 3/4-inch diameter) with coarse paper. When it comes to carving wood, I hate to take out big chunks. If I take it slow, it might take a long time, but I figure I can always take off a little more wood, but once it's gone, I can't put it back. Then. once the basic shape is done, I'd probably wrap a piece of fine paper around my finger and finish it that way...It's not very delicate but Harbour Fright sells carbide and diamond disk for angle grinders.
