Well it didn't work on the Dripbox
So I put it on the cReo.
What a fantastic RDA. So smooth. It's the Gemini of RDA's.
So now to deal with what I hate about the Reo. Hate hate hate hate the top fire button. Hate it. Did I mention I hate it??
No battery gauge. Fine for around the house but useless everywhere else. I will not carry extra batteries. Back when I used mech I dam near wore a Bat utility belt. The Dripbox had USB charging which while not idea makes it at least useful. Either way I hate the variable vape of a mech. I like same thing every time.

My finger is over the fire button on a Halcyon. DNA 40 box would be good enough for me but I'll take what is 200w for 200 Alex.

Speaking of really dense wood, I have a small chunk of Ironwood from Mexico hiding around here somewhere. I wonder what it would take to turn that into a mod box...

Never been one for fancy wood. NY cherry or Iowa walnut for this bumpkin.
I been planning a dual 18650 cherry mod. Been studying the midget stuff. I ain't scared of wiring, I've done whole houses including the one I sleep in but never any thing so small and I have never soldered. Wonder how hard to turn a Cherry Bomber into a squinted.

It's not very delicate but Harbour Fright sells carbide and diamond disk for angle grinders.
They are pretty kewl to mess with but I've never done more they play around with mine.
I can tell you it will turn any wood into bust in seconds if it gets away from you
Not really. Technique is slightly different for just soldering wires versus soldering sensitive electronic components (like an IC/chip) on the circuit board. You can use a 50W iron for one and a 10W iron with tiny tip for the other. I am sure there must be videos of How to Solder somewhere on the web.

Carve? As in with a pocket knife
that would be a challenge. My mill cuts ironwood like butter.
It's really easy with the right tools. Temp controlled iron is a must to do it right but if you must a fixed wattage iron with the right solder can work.
Look up "soldering tutorial" on YouTube most are quite good.
Yeah, I have some, but I would be much more likely to use a Dremel with a sanding drum (about 3/4-inch diameter) with coarse paper. When it comes to carving wood, I hate to take out big chunks. If I take it slow, it might take a long time, but I figure I can always take off a little more wood, but once it's gone, I can't put it back. Then. once the basic shape is done, I'd probably wrap a piece of fine paper around my finger and finish it that way...
