I needed somewhere to say this. I swear it's vaping related eventuallly. But this is my WTH rant for today.

Why???

I love gaming. I obsessively love it. Give me a game with a storyline and great characters and I'm in. I've spend over 1000 hours in each Bioware game I own, and countless hours in others (I have over 300 games). But Someone always has to make jabs at it. I shouldn't get butthurt about it, but part of me does.

I discovered vaping in January. It has saved me from cigarettes. And for some people, that's enough. For me, it's become a hobby, a collection of things I think look cool that do the thing that keeps me off cigarettes. But someone, even others that vape make little jabs at my collecting. And it isn't people that don't matter, it's friends I dearly love, that are doing it in jest. I know if I ever said hey, come on that bothers me they'd stop and feel awful about it.

I guess just once, I'd like to be able to Squee (fangirl talk) about my favorite things to people in my life without worrying about getting poked at, or humored. People that share my passions. But I just haven't met many that get it.

And here's the kicker...I'm a woman. So if I got to gaming things, I'm blown off as not a real gamer etc etc. Anything with techgeek themes, I've learned gets me the same treatment.

I just...I'm sorry for the whine. I just...WTH man, WTH.

Hey Jess -- WTH girl, don't let them take away from what you enjoy. Overlook them because it is YOU that has to live your life. Not them. I know people picking at you must be bothersome but ask yourself this, do their opinions matter more than your happiness does?I also collect vaping supplies like mechanical mods. I have more than enough, but I like having them. RDAs, I have more then enough of those too. Juices and DIY supplies. Yep, I got plenty of that too. It is a hobby and a healthier one than cigar collecting right?

As far as gaming gos, I know plenty of girl gamers that play Vikings Gone Wild on Fb and Battle Pirates. Even my nephews that play their PS3s and play clan wars in whatever game they are playing, have girls in their clans and from what I understand, they play just as good as the guys do.
Some good advice if I may. The key to happiness is to just stay away from A-Hs.

...I'm thinking I have an internal alarm clock set for 4 am. Now, if I could only figure out how to turn it off?

Yes I believe we all have a built in alarm clock. Mine is in the FUBAR mode atm.

I'm with you on this one!!! I am 46 years old and I LOVE gaming!!!!! I logged over 200 hours on Skyrim and I'm sure more on COD BO2. Thing is, none of my friends my age play games. I used to feel like an outcast for it. Like I was weird or a nerd. Finally I realized that it only matters to me what I like. What makes ME happy is important!!!!! Now I take time out for me just to play games because it's what I want to do. Turn it around and make fun of them back. Bass Pro Shop? Who wants to go there? Boring!!!!

I also get made fun of for my vape stuff. I Have 11 epipes now. Some of the teasing is jealousy but some is people who just don't understand me and what I enjoy. Same rule as with gaming applies. I bought them because I like them and wanted them. I bought them for ME!!! I wouldn't be happy only buying things that other people think I should have. Then I wouldn't be ME. The ones who have something to say about it are the weirdos in my opinion.

Tonight I went to bed at 10pm since I have to be up at 5am. I laid there for an hour until I said the h### with it and that's why I am here now at 12:40 writing to ya'll. Guess I'll be tired tomorrow.......again.

I have the opposite problem.... so WTH (Why) can't I get to sleep before 2 am. Then I have trouble getting up in the morning. I'm not even playing games. If I was I could understand. Tonight I went to bed at 10pm since I have to be up at 5am. I laid there for an hour until I said the h### with it and that's why I am here now at 12:40 writing to ya'll. Guess I'll be tired tomorrow.......again.

That's what this thread is all about is venting. I've already had several WTH moments today and it's not half over.
WTH did they put in my St. Paddys Day beer last night, Leprechaun pee? Essh hung over.

Ok, I'll chime in. I wake up at that time too and my hubs has some God awful sinus thing going on. I kept kneeing him harder and harder in the side so he would shut up long enough for me to go back to sleep....but noooooo. I had to grab my pillows and all and head to one of the guest rooms. I'm exhausted.

WTH!!! Don't the dumb people in this state know that when it has rained all night and the temperature drops below 32 degrees F you might want to slow down a little bit on the morning commute!! Don't even get me started about the tailgating when it's icy!!! Oh! and when they hit an icy patch whats the first thing I see.....BRAKE LIGHTS. How f-ing dumb is that?!!!
