I'll just go ahead and ignore your "grumble" and say it's just my excuse to not drop the $$ at this very moment

I'm still in the talking myself out of it phase LOL
If you want to stay in the "talking myself out of it phase" then by no means do not go to any Vape meets or any Vape stores and For GOD's Sake, DON'T USE ONE!!!!!! Believe me it will make you question everything you believe in. It will wreck you.
I don't believe the ProVari "hits" any better than an MVP2, but just how it sits in your hand, how it feels how consistent it is. It's amazing.
Even when you stare down the tube you see all the stuff in there, and at first think that ProVape is cheaping out. Why no smoked screen, why no divider between the control head and the battery?
It's because these things are designed to be abused. If one falls into liquid, most likely you can dry it out and it will continue to work.
Of course no self respecting ProVari owner would do something foolish like intentionally throwing their APV in the toilet (cough....cough...) but of the APV's I have, the ProVari is the one that I am most comfortable would work if such a heinous act were performed.
I am all for all the suggestions people have for ProVape as it pertains to upgrading their product, but only as to go as far as none of the traditional ruggedness of the ProVari is compromised.
If a Variable Wattage chipset made the unit less rugged, then lose variable wattage. If the LED's provide the maximum toughness, then keep the old school display. If the use of another chipset eliminates something like reverse battery protection, lose the chipset.
I want the ProVari's toughness to take priority. I spent nearly $200.00 on this thing, and not because it can wash my clothes. As long as it does what it does and is insanely reliable in doing so, I am all good.
