Helllooooo everyone lol
On request from my good friend Dspin to place my review here

This is the second day since I received my Prometey. What can I say Bashik, Dspin.....finally I have found an atty that has rivaled my beloved Odysseus. I've been on the hunt for an atty that is as good as the Ody for quite some time now. Everyone of them I tried and spent money on dissapointed ME.
If I had not spent my money on parts to make two Ody's then I would definitely had bought two more Prometey's
My views on Prometey on the first few hours:

First glance and WOW!!! What a gorgeous atty, secondly, how light it was. This is my First titanium vape gear (hoping Bashik will soon make a titanium mod). It's almost as though you can't feel it on your hand. I like to know I'm holding something but with Prometey it felt strange. Will get used to it though (no silly comments please )
Threads are quite good but I was having issues, wasn't as smooth on the first thread but once bitten was very smooth (probably my fault for sure), gonna make sure it wasn't a thread issue lol and that I'm just a knob lol.
And for sure I am a knob as there was no problems with the threading and it felt so smooth. Dspin suggested I use a thin coat of Vaseline which worked a charm.
I love how subtle the engravings are, I know some don't like too much engraving but if you see it in reality you will love it.
Set up wise, this has to be the easiest to set up compared to all my other atties. Had no issues at all.

The draw on it was was just perfect for me. With the adjustable airflow it works a charm.

Flavour......the most important factor that makes or breaks for me. Getting the perfect flavour with atties is some what of an Achilles heel for me (waiting on Achilles Bash). It's one reason that has frustrated me the most about vaping. I'm someone who only vapes 100% vg and so picky with flavours it's unbelievable. Don't have many favourite juices which is a big dissapointment.
Flavour comes out so rich and smooth you just don't wanna take it out of you gob hehehe. I get a stronger flavour than I do on the Ody, a bit similar to a kayfun but way better.

A big thanks to Bashik for making such a great atty finally my search has ended. And big thanks to Dspin, you were the reason I first was interested in Prometey, how could I not be when he kept going on about how good it was lol.

THANKS GUYS

Thanks Ukeman
I did that coil because I wanted maximum wicking. Unfortunately it back fired as it was wicking far better than I was hoping and juice was dripping from when left un-vaped straight through the airhole and out lol.
Wrapping the wick around the coil allowed sort of a reservoir which meant you won't have dry hits and in constant supply of juice to coil. I suggest you use cotton yarn if your going to wrap it around the coil like I did as their isn't much room to wrap silica wick. I loved this build but I think I will use more filler material just to stop too much juice to coil :)

hmmm yeah, i was wondering about that…

i have 2 Big Bens which are some of my favorite all time… and the Gyhpon, which have same air hole design which makes the vape so great.

I use one BB as a dripper with the short cylinder, no tank, but because the air hole goes up so high i can drip a ml pretty easily. I leave tails on the wick to go down to the base. With a nice thick wick the juice gets up to the coil nicely.
When filling i just tilt the atty so juice won't go into the center hole.

I actually plan to use my P2 as a dripper as well at least some of the time…

Looking at the new Achilles, its awesome for a dripper…

Right now I use 2 BB, Gryphon and Origen drippers… 4 setups each day… 4 favorite juices.

I wish there were more of these attys on ECF threads….

I love my Big Bens, but have some questions about setup
ie.
The mesh plug; what are the specs for that …

-also the bottom connector is said to be an allen wrench adjust for the air draw, but it seems the hole is indistinguishable and an allen wrench won't do it…
i use it to lengthen the contact as it occasionally gets pushed in.
- one last thing is experimenting with different wick material to get best wicking
Wow i just love them

i think for the plug i will "reverse engineer" one… and make another mesh plug

i did email Aleksandr and he responded right away but the language barrier is a bit tough…lol.

I got my P2 today!
Set it up with a micro coil 26g nich. and hemp fiber… at .38 ohms!
Its a wider ID coil and stuffed just enough hemp to make it a cool vape in dripper mode.

Would I need to have a high wick loop if I want to use it with the filler?
Put an MNKE IMR 18650 for sub ohms

AWESOME!

AWESOME vape! just love it.

Line up for my home vapes: Front Prometey2 on M16.
In mod stand: Big Ben short tank on left, Gyphon in middle (back), full tank mode Big Ben on right.
Origen dripper far right

I got no problem dripping these Ti attys… they hold a hell of a lot of juice just dripping!

Uke I dont have Big Ben so cant help you there. Prometey 2 comes with tiny Allen wrench and works well on bottom hole to adjust the air.

The post is adjustable and comes with shims if you wish to make it different.

Dont know what you mean about mesh plug

Glad to hear you love it buddy

my loops are usually either a tad longer than 1/4 " or tad shorter than 1/2" ( somewhere in between)

D, the mesh plug is a small tightly rolled piece of mesh that sits in a aprox 2mm hole at the botton of the tank and it feeds the wick. like capilary but gravity downward. so its about 2mm diameter and about 3mm tall.
i love it because when its right, it feeds the wick as it needs it, just like dripping from the top.

what are the little spacer shims for (P2)?

I'm thinking the Achilles is going to be another must have for me…

I love the flavor, air, vape and large chamber on the P2… best yet.

Achilles has deep well for juice like the Origen dripper; when you vape it draws the juice up. With the air post in the Achilles, its going to be better.

Shims are to adjust the center pole if you wish.

I still dont know what you mean by mesh plug - there are two different setups with mesh I have posted in this thread - I assume its neither one of those.

Where is the hole in the bottom of a Prometey tank. Uke - you have me confused here
