My last two orders from Poland: one took eight weeks, the other about six days. I know exactly how you feel, but I'd wait a few more weeks before really worrying :)

It sounds like the Achilles will be more to my taste, as I will be doing mesh wicks without filler. I still haven't gotten notice for either atty, but I am content to wait - plenty of toys these days.

Achilles will be great then for you. I just put in a mesh U-wick yesterday, need to take some pics, do a review and quit faffing around.

I like to keep my P2 topped off, and I will drip with a bottle dropper into d/t and then tilt so the juice goes up into the filler. When i guess the filler is full, I add more to fill the base up to the air post.
I assume this is the proper way … or is there another way?

I'll have to measure how much the filler will take by filling it with the base cap off… and then measure how much up to air post…

I use this P2 90% of the time i'm at home, which is most of the time since I work at home too. :)

Out of all of my RBAs, Prometey 2 provides the best vape and taste by a wide margin.
If I can get my second one I will probably sell of most of my existing RBAs.
I vape the same juice in all of mine and each has a different taste. I can't seem to replicate the Prometey 2 vape on any of the others.
I am blown away by this thing.

I vape my P2 10:1 to anything else. It will really let you taste the juice like no other.

My Gryphon and Biig Ben drip mode tank are superb too, but i think the P2 with its wider chamber makes the vape slightly cooler.
With the filler in it reduces the chamber space but even without filler in drip mode, P2 is the best.

Me too P, all my other stuff sits. My P's all have different juices in them except for the P1 - I still have mesh filler in that, sits on the Hammer with BBT(faded vapes) in it like the P2 has with Bashiks filler.

I hate to pull out 2 ft of mesh and replace with filler. Too much of a hassle pulling out the mesh, washing it off and rolling the 2 pieces back in there.

Im glad I dont have alot of favorite juices, else I would be in trouble - heheh. Had the Gryphon out last night again, will be putting that on the Nau when it comes out. Looks good on the GGTB too.

Prometey-II : Twin Microcoil : Build PICTORIAL

Disassemble and Clean up the Atty:

Layout for work:

Microcoils Prepared:

28AWG Kanthal, 11 wraps on Toothpicks

Both Coils Twist-Joined:

Pre-Twisted the coils to each other for ease of mounting

Coils Mounted on the Deck:

Tip: Keep the coil head upwards, with the tails at the lower plane while mounting. This helps in correctly positioning the coil over the Base Air-Channel. See graphic Below:

BUILD METERED:

A) DMM Zeroed (Internal Resistance Reading):

B) Coil Resistance Check:

Thus, the Final Coil Resistance works out to be 0.8Ω

Coils Test Fired:

Preparation of the Wick:

Wick tail Size:

Each wick is flush-cut at one end close to the coil. The other (longer) end is the one which would touch the Fluff
Thus, there'd be two tail-ends holding up in U-shape, but only one from each coil

Wicks Juiced Up:

Build Vapor Test:

Preparation of the Fluff:

Width = 20mm approx.

Length = 55mm approx.

Fluff rolled into the Tank:

Juicing the Fluff:

A fully loaded Tank:

Tip: Not too much, not too less. The top of the fluff should NOT be juicy, that's more ~ and will over-wick leading into gurgling vape with poor vapor. The top of the fluff should just be moist.

VAPE SATISFACTION:

First Vape:

Second Vape:

Third Vape:

Thoughts on the Coil Setup:
My favourite type of build has long been Microcoil & Cotton. Every atty of mine is setup this way. Tho designed for a single coil, given the deck space I couldn't help building duals on my Prometey-II! And man, did I do good! The Prometey-II behaves stupendously well with this build. Obviously duals will chug-out the smog - but this build is producing nice Flavour and TH as well. Every draw is reminiscent of actually "drinking" our flavoured liquid. Ah, this one is TASTY! In a scale of 1-10, where 10 is the best, I'll rate the Prometey-II and this build as: Vapour - 8/10, TH - 8/10, Flavour - 9/10. A nice li'l smooth RBA it is!

BOTTOMLINE:
Besides a stunner in looks - the Prometey-II is also a smart firer! Obviously it has taken hints from other similar attys - but has gone further to better that system. For one, it is 22mm OD, as such has a way higher juice capacity. For two, it's Titanium, that's pretty cool (yes, it makes it the lightest in town too)! For three, the design incorporated maximum deck space, which makes our life much easier while working on it. For four, lifted base air channel ~ come what may this atty is not going to leak. For five, side air-hole ~ bring on the mods brothers - let it sit flush on whatever! Notwithstanding, the build, materials, machining, finish and detailing are par excellence!

This one's a KEEPER!

---------------------------------------------------------
CAUTION: This being a sub-Ohm build it is for "advanced users" and definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for new vapers. It is also to be noted that all batteries cannot handle continuos excessive discharge. For sub-Ohming you must use a battery rated 10C or above, higher the better.

Qorax you are Top Notch! Thanks for adding so much to the community, it doesn't go unnoticed. This is a great instructional build review.

Without you and dspin ECF would not be nearly as good.

Thanks again!

Brad
Thanks for the appreciation Brad, you made my day!
