there is a new player kei. Zr springs. I will have them ready in 15 days I hope.

I am testing Zirconium the last 6 months. Its the metal of the e-cigs future

I assume they are as safe as Titanium, correct? I have yet to hear anything about Zirconium...

Yes, why zirconium?
How does it behave regarding R-T dependence? Is it suitable for TC eventually?

Zr because:

1. Its stronger than Ti grade 1
2. Makes better springs
3. Doesnt brake or get in flames or get damaged or produce white powder if dry burn
4. Its biocompatible material (so non toxic), (we cover our teeth holes with it)

5. its suitable to TC (almost all clean metals are suiytable with TC). Its resistance is almost the same as Ti, so its way more suitable thatn any other low resistance material out there. Ti was the most suitable metal but Zr is even better. In fact its the material that we will use permanent in future to make resistances

Imeo, I know you may not want to give away your Secrets, so I understand if you don't want to answer.
But is Zr the reason for Proteus delay?

Are you making Proteus compatible for Zr?

Like other Vapers, I have not used Zr. I currently use ESG Ti wire which isn't 100% Ti but it's pretty good. I wouldn't be using these unique devices and materials if it wasn't for GG.

GG is the leader in innovation. Except I don't have a TC device. And I really don't want a TC device unless it is Proteus or something similar.

I am not into big bulky devices with soldered wires. A unit that can break with dropping it out of your pocket or falling off a table is not worth it to me. Especially if it cost a lot of money.

With Esterigon I have dropped it many times. Luckily it was on carpet. Only once on concrete and it is still going strong. The one time on concrete was a hard fall and left a mark on the bottom edge of the safety cap but it still works fine. If it was another device, with soldered wires, it would be rendered unusable.

OK back on topic....
I look forward to trying Zr.
Keep us updated if/when your suppliers start selling Zr.

No buddy, Zr is not the reason for the delay of Proteus. Its the fact that its very small and I have problems with its assembling.

I dont make Proteus compatible with Zr. But maybe I will. But thats not a delay at all, its a 2 days work if I would like to do it :)

You know that I totally agree with you about all these bulky devices with soldered wires and units that can break with dropping them out of your pocket or falling off a table, especially if they cost a lot of money or stop working suddenly. There are other reasons that devices like this are not worth it for me and I can post a list if you like.

Zr will come to me in some days. I think you will be impressed! I know that I will not make any money from it because it will be sold everywhere around the world in a while but you know that my concern is not this.

No, it works only with springomizer for now kei :)

Can you explain further please? What other pieces would we need if we wanted to use the new chimney on V2/V2+, and not springomizer. I thought i remember you saying flavor was even better with this new chimney. I would love to try it on regular V2/V2+. Thanks.

Seek, Tilemahos X1 will be available in 3-4 days from Spain shop for now and a little later from the other GG stores.

Yes! I manage to make Zr springs at the veeery reasonable selling price to you of 1 euro !

ps........ The cost of the Zr is about 2 times bigger than Ti wires by the way

Yaya, let me explain you some things about temp coefficients. SS is an alloy and isnt really compatible with temp control devices. In fact all alloys arent. Only pure metals can be used.

Ti has a temp coefficient at 0,0032 and Zr at 0,0044. That means that the resistance of Zr expands more vs temp.

If you dont use temp devices then no worries at all. Zr is the best wire around for any device mechanical or electronic

Need a suggestion.
I have one springomizer base and two attys, 21mm in hybrid connection with Esterigon, and 22mm V2 on Duke SX.
I'm using fixed brass 510 pin on 22mm version so TC mode should work ok.
I'm having trouble deciding where to use the springomizer base
What are your thoughts?

Have almost the same set up, I run the springo with hybrid Esterigon (currently have a 26/32 K1 clapton spring running at about .7Ω) and use the V1 AFC base (with the brass center post) and SS316,Ti (or an unrolled SpringO) on my Evic mini /TC.

Cheers

Ok people, who can help me out?

I received the 4mm juice hole update for the Tilemahos V2 (I use in combination with Springomiser), and took everything apart. But now I'm not sure how everything needs to fit again together. And yes I know it's really silly :)

I put all the parts in the attached picture.

Maybe someone can make me a small movie, or maybe there is already one?

Thanks in advance, help will be highly appreciated!
