i lost one of my slim KR8 batts on new years. (d'oh)

Soooo, im looking for a new battery for my KR8 cartos. and im taking the opportunity to upgrade. the new 808 Ego looks like a very viable option. im also considering the Elite. or possibly even a mod. does anyone know if box mods come in a KR808 threading? whats a good price on a box mod? or any mod with KR8...maybe i should just get an adapter?

Elite is my go-to e-cig along with The Go-go. I posted back in August,

Every time I vape these things I have an almost uncontrollable Tony the Tiger moment ... They'rrrrrrrrrrre GREAT!

And DonDaBoomVape put up this image:

Get The Elite ... Be Happy.

KGO 1100mah now with 5 click on/off - KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

Kemosabe, have you looked at the echo yet? They come 650, 1100 and 1300mah. Fiddle free vaping at its finest. 808 threads and automatic. The echo carts are 3ml and designed to last longer than standard carts and you can also use your favorite 808 carts on them as well.

You also have the Echo-E, which is the manual version, and the Echo VV, as in variable voltage!

im digging all the replies. i had heard about the Echo but forgot about it. it looks very similar to the KGO. its hard to tell the difference. Its hard to tell the difference between any of the __Go’s for that matter lol. There are so many!

wfx - why do you suggest 510 thread over 808? Ive always liked the idea of a box mod. The juice boxes look wild. I could see myself strapping in a bottle of juice and just vaping my life away lol

...and that Tony the Tiger gif is hilarious.

KGO, VGO, EGO, iGO, UGO, HEGO, SHEGO, THEYGO, WEALLGO GOGO. 5 are real, 5 are not. Can you tell which ones?

Last I heard it was only the echo and echo-e which stands for echo-ego, meaning it is a 510 model and a pushbutton. There is also an echo cart for push button models that use 808 threading but it's hard to find. (I believe it's called echo-v for the Vgo) I am totally unaware of an echo vv.....but that would be AWESOME!!!!!!

There are so many good 3.7-4.2 510 models that I can't see any reason to recommend the echo-e over the riva/KGo especially because the reviews of the echo-e cart are lukewarm at best. Why the 808 echo cart surpasses the echo-e cart is a mystery

The only reason I bring up the echo at all, is because I am just about as annoyed as Morandir at hearing what an inferior unit the 808 is and that all automatics are noobie crap. My automatic fat batt echo is the best and most convenient pv I have used when it comes to vaping on the go. Even right now I am typing with both hands with my 650 gripped comfortably in my teeth, vaping away! I can fiddle with stuff and vape. I can tear apart a house and rebuild it while vaping (if I knew how to tear apart and rebuild a house) I can drive with both hands on the wheel and vape. I can drink through a straw and...ok, that's enough........(breath).....:vapor:aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm better now

I only wish we could move the echo thread to the kr808 section so folks who like kr808s can see a good upgrade option instead of lumping it in with ego type batteries where it is lost.

And sometimes. I still like to leave the house (when I am only going to be gone for a few hours) with just my kr808

That is all!

Yeah, right!

I don't understand the hate for KR8 either. It's just a thread type. Then again, my opinion may change once I actually EXPERIENCE the difference, but in theory......

One person commented in one of my threads that the Echo auto has a really easy draw, and said it was akin to "a fine lover." Hehe

Here is a link to the Echo VV - FreedomSmokeUSA

*EDIT* Kanger also makes one - http://www.szkanger.com/product_show.asp?id=87

that's actually the echo-e (510 thread) even though it says echo. how confusing...........I again have to say.....why oh why do we need another 510 that's exactly like the another 510 but I guess hangsen has a right to compete. I'm going to stick to my basic three recommendations. Echo......Whatever Go they want to call the 808 thread push button (Vgo or 808Ego) or a Riva/Kgo although I have seen Kgos with 808 and just 901 threads. Seeeeee?

My love for the echo is like my love for a fine cigar. It's exactly the same feel.

I've seen that ego booster. It's nearly as expensive as a mod and just about the same price as a VV sooooo

Maybe that echo (e) VV would be a great thing for folks on their first upgrade to really find their preferred sweet spot. For me, with it only going from 3.2-4.2, it would only serve as a reminder as to why I didn't care for the egos in the first place. lol?

Morandir, I've seen kgos that claim they're regulated as well as one site that listed the thread types as 901......go figure.

----good advice for anyone looking to upgrade, no matter what the model, always look for Voltage, whether it's regulated and thread type..........
