Well I tried something different. I wrapped a 2.5mm coild on a master coiler 5wraps 26awg Ti vape mesh. This time I pulsed it till is just glowed a little and the wire came out blue. Thats ok right. .26ohms the flavor seems better so far on 17J 390 to start. Blue is good right???

Should keep me going for a few weeks
Well QM I already got my Vape Mesh here in the states and it seems pretty good. A little springy but not bad. Easy to work with at least the 26 is. They sent me a sample of 24 I think it is 12mm. Might try that too.

Do any of you use Ti contact coils if so how many wraps and what ID with 26awg
I used to use 28g in that configuration but I stopped. Not worth the hassle. Spaced work just fine.

I use to use 10 wraps, 2.5mm id. Would come out at 0.64 I believe (0.32 for dual coils)

Now I just did a dual 9 wrap coil, 26g Ti on a 2.5mm mandrel (spaced) which came out at 0.22

Just rebuilt my erlprinz with stealthvape's Ti 26awg.

7 wraps, 3mm mandrel, spaced. Came out at 0.36 ohm

Need to lower preheat a bit but the sucker is going over 21W without hitting temp protection... :D

Ware are all the yihi troubles happening in the sx ? I updated my Ipv4 gives it 120w and a ti setting as well. I liked the ti wire on it before but had to keep temp low,now with the upgrade it is working great temp and joule set higher and working much more accurate :headbang:Very happy with there update and it is also a yihi chip.
Also just got a Sigelei 75w it don't have per say separate ti setting but is working great with ti as well. I can use about the same settings as on the Ipv4 but it says watts no joule but works the same:thumb:

Hi Tony,

Could you please compare 26 & 28 gauge Ti wires? I have 28 gauge from Zivipf and I love it. Was wondering if it was worth to by 26 gauge from Stealthwape. BTW, are they going to produce 28 gauge as well?

Well 26 g is easier to build, especially the annealed stuff stealthvape has. It's also easier to space it properly with a scalpel or x acto knife.

The biggest difference I noted, hands down was the cleaness of the wire compared to zivipf.

I don't have long term experience with 26g yet but I won't touch my 28g again anytime soon.

Regarding stealthvape carrying 28g, I guess that will depend on the demand.

I'm going to try 24g next week but for now, I rewicked all my atties with 26g. I like that size and finish :)

Simple 28ga x 3mm x 7 spaced wraps (.64ohms) with Rayon wick in my Erlkönigin and I've gone through 80+ml of Boba's Bounty! (Previous record with this juice was 60-65ml with twisted 30awg Nickel)

Most of that was on an eVic VT, so the temp isn't accurate, but for what it's worth, I'm Vaping it at 60watts/570°-600°(On a DNA40, I'm at 40watts/410°, so I'm cooking it pretty good)

I'm guessing the smaller gauge wire has a lot to do with longevity in regards to coil gunking, but you can attribute it to Titanium+Rayon if you want. Whatever it is, I'm loving it!

I don't have problems with spacing the coils and I've rebuilt my atties with Ti just twice as I see no need in changing them often. What I really like about 28 gauge is that at 6-7 wraps it lands at 0.4-0.5 range and it performs really well for me at that range. I don't want to go back to Ni ranges of 0.1-0.2 (differences of 0.01-0.03 ohms having a huge effect on vapor) and I don't like long coils, so 26 wouldn't cut it for me, I guess. I'll wait for their 28 gauge, thanks for the reply!

I'm using 26 now mostly..but have tried 24 and it's even easier to get the coils spaced right. Each time I've moved up in wire thickness I'v stuck on the bigger one...there HAS to be a limit on that though.

I started with 24 and am now wondering how 22 would work. :)

Also I have not noticed any delay with 24 Ga. I don't know if it is because Ti heats faster or the Boost circuit in these TC Mods.
