Broken link above. They are produced by CBS TV. There is a link to contact them and a community link. You can see the promo at the above broken link. Don't know what the show will tell about the whole incident until it is shown tomorrow but by seeing the promo I don't hold out much hope.
Contact you local station the airs it to complain. CBS TV and leave messages on the Dr's site if they do not tell more of the story.
Even if they do tell the entire story on the show tomorrow how many people just see the promo and believe that's all there is to the story? I think a lot do, so the show should be aware that the promo is bad even if they tell the whole story.

I've got it taped, and it wasn't as bad as it could have been. They sensationalized the explosion thing with dramatic music and quotes from news stories. One of them did try to wedge the idea in that some of these were being used/charged inappropriately, but he was kind of drowned out by the drama of the whole discussion. They mentioned that ecigs are probably a lot safer than cigarettes, but suggested that approved NRTs were probably way safer (which is not really known, IMO). They, of course, recommended trying other methods (read- pharmaceuticals) to quit first. They talked to a woman whose ecig exploded while it was charging in her car and burned her son.

One completely inaccurate thing that one of the 'doctors' said was this, "However, on the other side, especially in young people, teens, a lot of teens have been trying these and we've found that it can actually increase a young person's nicotine addiction. So there's kind of two sides. "

I'm going to try to get on their forum and post a rebuttal to this statement.

After this, they moved on to breast implants "exploding".

Think about this. One of the stories was a year or 2 old, the one in Fla and the rest are using computers or car chargers, something you really don't have with mods. They mentioned 4m users in the US now. That's pretty much 4m times 365 days a year with at least 1 battery a day being charged. That's about 1.5b usages a year, in 4 years 6b usages and you're making a big deal of a handful of accidents. You have a better chance of hitting the lottery.
