I should have my new Pico next week...first one! Wanted to add to my replaceable battery collection. I don't do TC and don't expect I ever will be interested in trying it. I have some of the eleaf 40W TC mods and have never even tried the TC part...just tootle along happily with VV/VW!
I dont have one, but you should be very happy with it!! :D:thumb:

I have other Joyetech/Eleaf/Wismec mods and all use the same board as the Pico, and they all perform very well, especially in VW/Power mode!
I think I will get the All Black one when I can..

It's not advised to do that. It will riin your batteries.
I disagree. With single battery devices, the on board charger is acceptable. An external charger will be faster. Perhaps a tetch safer, but only just on most modern mods.

Don't feel intimidated by all the parts. You will never take it that far apart! I enjoy the V4. It's a nice RTA.
Says you! I like a challenge and DID test mine down once... just once...

That, good sir would be the trip of a lifetime! I'd have to swing by and get @MikeyConti for safety as we are going to the Ozarks... ;)

To end up at the mecca of all things vape!
Two weeks at Shawn's house to try out all the gear, who's game?

I'd have to bring back a broom or two for the wife, she'll have to call Retire Your Ride on her old one...

Does that mean that you feel it's untrustworthy? I'd like to skip using an external charger completely and leave the battery in until it dies. TY

Yah so on the majority of regulated devices it is just fine to run the battery down until it wont fire anymore. There are some that this does not hold true and that would be mods like the Hexohm which have no battery management on-board. Mods like the Pico or something with a Dna or Yihi board it is just fine to run it down. It will let you know when its out of gas which is usually around 3.2v which is perfectly fine and should not have any concern. Plugging the mod into charge is ok also, as most devices have good chargers in them. I do this whenever possible as it is more convenient for me. Most people do not have external chargers, us that do are a small percentage of vapers in the world.

Thought I'd pop in here and ask if many of you use the on board charger on the Pico?
I won't have my Pico until later today (coming in the mail) but I use the on board charger for my Heatvape Defenders, and see no reason to not use the one on the Pico. Never have any problems. I've even used the HDs in passthrough mode...no problems. One of the reasons I was attracted to the Pico (I really wasnt' hurting for a new replaceable battery mod) was it has the on board charger...and the PT tech Eleaf uses. I have used the PT feature with all my Eleaf devices and haven't had the slightest bit of trouble (other than one of them doesn't like the connection on an old USB cord that I use by the bed. The plug falls out all the time...but it's just that one and that one is perfectly happy with other cords).

I agree with Shawn. The on board charger is perfectly acceptable. In the many years I've vaped and used them...I've never had any trouble (and yes...that isn't just for the built in battery types, but also the replaceable battery ones. The Ego T had the on board charging feature, too...and those old mods are still crankin' ...and many of the batteries from back then are too!)

EDIT: I think it was called the eGo T...it's been awhile. It was the big tube mod by Joyetech that used 18650 batteries and was semi-regulated (also could be used mech style). They had tubes for the 18350 batteries to go with, too.

I often use on board charging when I'm out of the house for a while - it's quite convenient, since the phone charger can just do double duty.

I often spend significant lengths of time living in my HMMWV, and during that time, I do a significant amount of off-road activities. My external charger might not survive that.

So far, I've had zero issues with using on-board charging. Works for me, and it's really nice to have.

BOOM!

Hey TP's, I'm wondering if any of you can recommend a good mouth to lung drip tip that's non-metal?

I have probably a hundred drip tips from fasttech, but I can't seem to find one that gives a really tight draw, except for some shorties. Most seem too big, or too small, or I have some plastic ones that are great...but break when in my pocket (they're the super cheap ones)

I'm mainly trying to find a pairing for my Aspire Plato, and I do like the dimensions of the metal one that comes with it....but I just can't do metal in my mouth.

Has anyone found a good tip in this realm?
