Thank you again for all the help. Redeyedancer, thank you for the warm welcome. I guess you are the inventor and maker of the REOs? You must have quite a great product. A quick scan down the "Forum Suppliers" section shows 0-5 people browsing most of the subforums, but 41 browsing the REO forum.

I feel like I've chosen wisely.

One last question: Will the REO be suitable for vaping 100% VG liquid?

I don't have any problems running straight VG through my mini. You should not have any trouble, either.

I just got my first Reo Grand today and I love it! I am using 4.8 NiMH batteries for a 5v vape with Boge 3 ohm cartos (I have 2ohms on the way as well as a couple of cisco 306 atties!) It is the perfect size, just fits in my hand like it was made for it. I also have a lavatube that I got about a month ago...but today it has been neglected. The Reo has made me realize that I don't have to fiddle with my pv throughout the day or even carry a bottle of juice in my purse every time I leave the house. I started vaping in mid-October and was using egos until a month ago. I wish I had known what I know now! I fully recommend the Reo grand and as of this afternoon there were about 10 available on their website. The nice thing about hte grand is that there are so many battery options for vaping at different voltages. I love my VV Lavatube but have found that 5V is where I like to be mostly which is why I chose the NiMH batteries.

I know this post is all over the place but I just can't stress enough that the Reo Grand seems like a really good choice for a first, middle, or last mod!

Absolutely agree with much of what your saying. The REO is the answer for someone that wants an easy to use mod. WELCOME TO THE TEAM new REOnaut. If you want, there is also a banner that a lot of us REOnauts use:

Seeing as this thread was started by another newbie to the REO I think this may be important. When reading the start guide for the reo it states to use alcholol to clean the reo....now is it the rubbing alcholol or is it the drinking kind :D

I know that people use isopropyl (high percentage) but I prefer to use PGA (pure grain alcohol, 190 proof). Vodka works too.

I can find Everclear here in Louisville but it can be expensive to use for cleaning purposes. It kind of sucks paying what is essentially a tax on getting drunk and then... not getting drunk. I try to use the large plastic bottles of very cheap vodka (they are like 5 bucks) for most purposes.

If you don't mind my asking, where are you getting 150 proof pure grain alcohol, and at what price?
