With lots of butter and salt, they are delicious.

I only like the baby ones, a/k/a butter beans. The tough huge green ones are as horrible as red kidney beans. I really don't find tough beans to be fit for human consumption.

While we're on the subject of lima beans, did you know the word "uncomplimentary" has all 5 vowels, with no repeats, in reverse order? There's one other word where this is also true.

Yes only the little ones. Cooked in the crock pot with pulled pork for 6/8 hours. Yum.
