See also this thread I started back in October.
As for my screen name: My first name is Don; I am the oldest of the Baby Boomers; and I love to vape. So: Don, the boomer who vapes ... shortened to Don the Boom vape ... then 'the' changed to 'da' to have it all roll trippingly off the tongue. And, in my signature, I add: "...bum, bum!" to fulfill the beat of: shave and a haircut...two bits.
My avatar is a stock photo I found in a search of such images for the words: 'debonair' and 'cigarette.' I'm not really debonair (other than in fantasy), but I like the style of those who are (think David Niven). That long cigarette holder conveys my primary PV: a penstyle. Come to think of it, one of the things I like about the penstyle is that it is...debonair. My wife and I refer that that e-cig as "Ellie" (for elegant).*
* That's what I wrote back in October. Since then, CigEasy as come out with an eGO-like battery for the Kr8 and 901, called the Elegant. [I use it (with adapters as needed) with all my atomizers.]
I had the beat of your name totally different Don. I thought is was supposed to sound like the little "jingle" (for lack of a better term right now) from Dragnet when Officer Friday was on to something. There were no words, just a "Bum da dum dum, bum bum." Now I'm really feeling old here. Am I the only one who remembers Dragnet?
