@Hitcat44 Did you trim that off the top?

Yep, used an Exacto and took 1/8" off the top of the stock Wrap.
Good Eye my Brother :thumb:

That looks great! I always wanted to use a wrap but was concern about what happens underneath if I ever wanted to take if off when it got worn.

And sweet friggin tank Hitcat, I love mine! It looks great on the Stout with the black tip.

Thanks Marc. The Tengu does mate nicely with the VFS. Be better overall Look with the Smoked Window-tank but that will wait for the next re-build to switch out. Vapes real nice on the Stout. I believe the Snow Wolf 75 just got dumped for a new Partner.
I'll give it a Bellus to ease the pain of the rejection ;)
Got the Wrap from 707 Smart Skins (awesome quality and material)and same as J-Wrap or Mighty-Skins, can be removed and leaves very little (if any) residue that is easily removed with an Isopropyl wipe. They say can be reused but never found that to be the case with any Wrap. Removal always stretches it out and deforms the Skin too much.
I don't see ever wanting or needing to remove it personally.

I just opened my new stout and it has scuffs and scratches lengthwise, along both sides of the mod. Just along the widest edges on the fat battery part. It is the stainless steel one and I already bought clear skins for it. Anyone else have this issue with their new silver stout having scratches already when they opened it out of the sealed plastic wrapper? Thanks in advance

Contact VF. They are great about dealing with issues. You can actually call and and speak to someone.

Nothing like that on my Silver or Black Stout, I would contact the vendor and get a replacement.

Thanks. I did contact the vendor, just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. This is the 2nd stainless steel mod I've bought recently with this problem. The first one was a cuboid and I said f*** it and used it, but the stout is more than 2x what I paid for the joyetech.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have read on here that VF has excellent customer service, but I did not purchase it directly from them. Does that matter?

I wish someone made a silicone sleeve for the Classic.

I would buy a Classic if that was the case too. I loved my Vaporflask DNA40 but always wanted to take it out but couldn't because it had no protection. You should never leave the house without a rubber

Recieved my Stainless Stout a few weeks ago and it too had the scuffs form shipping. I was able to rub them out with a cloth so no big deal. I'm running the AWT yellow 4500 mah battery. I purchased it t a local B&M with the Stout in hand to insure it fit. It's a tight fit but I have not trouble closing the door. I think Mooch rated this a top 5 26650 so I felt good about using it. I am a mouth to lung vaper 95% of the time usually running a 1 ohm SS316 coil in a Kayfun at 15 watts and 420 degrees. I now have mulitpal tanks set up, all in SS316, including a rarely used Triton with a .4 ohm SS coil. All work FLAWLESSLY. Extremely consistnt vape. Although I am failry new to temp control, I did not like the experence with temp control with nickle. Liked the idea of being able to use SS in both wattage mode and temp control just in case SS gave me the same issue as nickle. Not sure if its the SS wire or how the Stout handles SS, but im am really digging the Stout in temp control. Battery life with the AWT is Amazing. Granted I am not running high watts but i am getting longer battery life than I do with two 18650 batteries in my Provari with the same 1 ohm coil at 15 watts. I haven't been this pleased with a mod puchase since I bought my first Provari 6 years ago.

Hi,
Someone have problems with buttons of Stout?
My buttons (+) and (-) are slackers, when i shake Mod much hear buttons, like a cheap chinese Mod.
Already happened or happens to someone?
No rattles on my Classic. My battery cover has some very slight play in but not enough to even be annoying. Just a slight nitpick.

If I shake my Stout hard I can hear the + and - buttons rattle as well, until someone pointed that out though I never noticed it. Do I wish they did not rattle, sure, do I shake my mods hard on a regular basis, no. My RX200 and Encom TNT80 also have rattles if I shake them, the only mod I have that doesn't is my IPV5.

I guess it's only a problem if your OCD, luckily I don't have that problem. In normal use the +/- rattle doesn't bug me, my solution was to not shake my Stout hard enough to hear them rattle.
