I'm sure there is a thread already. I searched for a bit and didn't find much. Besides, I am curious and lazy
I am just curious how vaping had affect your relationships past and present with your significant other, friends or family. Has it affected new relationships?
So far in my six month adventure, my girlfriend was extremely put off by it. Mostly because it singled her out as a smoker. It was kinda rough for a minute. I stopped going outside to have a smoke with her and that was a lot of the problem. I could never show her my first micro coil (that worked) without some sort of tension. After awhile I got the hint and pinned the issue. I started to only go out with her to vape and spend less time in the "lab" playing with my vape toys around her. Over the last month or so, she has cut smoking by 2/3 and as of the last week started vaping. Needless to say things are back to normal.
On the other side of things.
One of my best friends and I just went out on a double date, (i think) the third date with a guy. She has not used her PV in front of him until tonight. We are outside at another friends music gig. When she did, he treated it as if she was smoking cigarettes and wouldn't accept it. Telling her the usual "you dont know whats in that" routine. She stayed pretty calm and we all decided it would be better to go back to my place, her date not included. Sadly, that's probably over. She's a little distressed about it but still maintains that if he can't accept her and her habits for what they are then it isn't going to work.
So I guess we (the best friend and I) are curious to know how vaping has changed other peoples relations good or bad.
Thanks for your input.
Sincerely,
The Meerkat, The Chinchilla and The Giraffe.
