Thanks for the pics nj! If you don't mind my asking, what's up with the corner of the SX in the second pic? Did it come that way? Also - can I bug you for a shot of the 510? :)

Max Joules = 75
Max Watt = 150

& yes, I definitely do need to check the M class thread, because the "DRY COIL NO LIQUID" screen is really really killing me right now. Doesn't matter if I drip directly onto the coil, it'll pop right up. Pretty much to the point where I can't even get a vape for a second off it.

Playing around with my ipv D2 I get the same ____ing problem, it's infuriating. Pop the build on the Xvostick (currently my only other TC mod) and it works fine. I was all set to buy one of these SX Flasks in a heartbeat but after trying to deal with the D2 and my buddy's M class I decided to buy a Flask 40 for the time being.

I am still veerrryy interested in this Flask too though. Since I've started using tanks for work my vape style is becoming more and more modest - but I still have a few drippers I run over 40W and I absolutely love the way my S class runs them (for the entire 30minutes or whatever that it can ;) )

Earlier in the thread there was an indication the DNA200 wasn't used because early firmware didn't support 18650s.

Has there been confirmation since that we'll see a DNA200 version too? I fancy the interface a lot more myself .. -Mags

There has been NO talk about a DNA200 Flask unfortunately. I would buy one in a heartbeat. It CAN be done (at 133 watts, of course) but no talk of it. Yet.

When i did my dna200 retrofit into a flask, it raised alot of attention. Charlie, the owner of vapor flask called me personally to tell me that he was jealous. I let him know the large demand for it. He did say that they will start to prototype it after the sx350j flask is over with. There is hope!

I signed up for ecf just to say thanks for the updates nj. I have been following vf's Facebook like a stalker waiting for an update and have gotten nowhere. Any idea when these may be released to retailers? Also, how are you liking it?
Wow, well I'm glad I posted em up. You're totally welcome. Welcome aboard!
Considering I got in on the 1st wave of 300, I'm surprised there's not any others posting about em. Like I said, I had been dying to see some pics too & hoped that whoever got theirs early on would've posted pics but could't find any anywhere, so I ceased the opportunity to as soon as I got mine. Glad you dig em & appreciate.
I do like it. To be honest, I'm still getting used to the chip- been using a DNA40 since I got one. I have no clue when they're unraveling them to retailers, but I assume it'll be soon.

Well what the heck, here is a quick pic of another from the first 300. Just sitting on my office desk. Had it a few days now. It had an issue which I was able to fix from home. So far Im loving it. It feels cheaper and less quality than my 2.1 but all is good. I think that toggle button is actually metal but I cant tell, which is a good sign I guess.

Right behind you...
The ONLY thing I don't like aesthetically is the white lettering on the rocker button. And as pretty as the original brushed finish was, it was also a slippery, scratch-prone fingerprint magnet that I was loath to leave the house with for fear of marring it. So this new hard textured finish is a win in my book.

Do you have a thread on your build of it? How hard was it to do?

100 watts w/parallel 18650''s !! 1st time i've ever seen any regulated mod do that- being able to run up to 100w w/o stressing or pushing batts to near their full CDR amps like in 18650 series mods - & stuff 6000mAh in there, & in a US made flask, i'd buy it just for all that......when i can afford to....

DNA 200 is getting all the hype & buzz, but plenty of lousy mods are being made w/that board, as well as good ones. Most are overpriced right now.

This flask & is solid & unique in it's own way.

ETA Besides, a DNA133 w/series 18650's is almost a different mod than the 200, gonna be running batts very close to or at their full CDR Amps at over 100w anyway.
Seems to boil down to which type wires one prefers to vape with, at what wattages & with how much batt power in reserve, & whether one wants to tinker w/a computer. I would still buy this version flask 1st, then a quality 200 or 133 later.

I Have a bunch of 200 dna's I built and have an evolv reference mod. Love the chip even built a dual 18650 version. Unfortunately us and China are pushing mods out and the quality control has been so bad. So a lot of failures that almost all of were the manufacturing or assembly. I had my Hana fail and evolv kindly fixed it for me free and sent me their mod just so I had one in the meantime lol.

And just a note the Dna can draw a max of 23 amps from the battery source in any configuration so not too bad on 18650s. Kind of cool cause with that 23 amps it can output a max of 50 amps continuously.

And I was gonna order this flask but kinda bummed that yihi made their last test firmware update for titanium and never made a finished update as the titanium wire mode does not work properly at all. At least in my sx mini. And then to top that they just dropped the 350j v2 chip which almost seems like it's just the 350j v1 chip with the final firmware update. Now they make everyone have to buy a new sx mini or another flask later on. Bummer I wish they would at least release a last update for the current 350j chips.

Finally now that the Dna200 has been put in a flask and there's a hint of hope I think that's what I'm waiting for. Or I'm just gonna have to buy a shark flask or clone flask to try myself
