Thanks for taking pics of the inside Uncle Chuck, I'm glad they added a tab on the cover to hold the charge board in and looks like they added more insulation to the ends of the battery. I was curious, but not curious enough to take the cover off of mine since it feels rock solid and it has absolutely zero rattle.
SOOOOO I just think I might have gotten some real bad news.....I had been checking Vaporsharks website for days trying to see if and when they would open the "pre order" gates again and then by some miracle yesterday they opened the gates around midday. I got my order in with a quickness and got confirmation it went through got an order number etc. but one thing that kind of left me feeling uneasy was that the banner on the VS page has been displaying(for a while now) "all orders placed after 3/5 will ship out before or on 3/25" and this banner was still up yesterday.....So I emailed them this morning to see if the banner was still accurate or maybe they just forgot to take it down etc. and still haven't got a response. So me being the impatient person that I am called them and got a very nice guy on the phone named Oscar, he was in shock that I was able to put an order through yesterday and didn't even know that it was possible. He was under the impression that it had been and still was closed for orders. He took down all my info and said he had to get in touch with his IT department to see what was going on. I am trying to be optimistic about the situation but I am not getting that warm fuzzy feeling after that phone call. I'll post an update if and when I get one. I will be praying to vape Gods until then.
They are prety well divided, sales, customer service and shipping, and don't seem to have great communication between departments. I wouldn't stress too much about it, they have that banner up since they haven't finished shipping the previous pre-orders yet, and they do in fact have a lot more units in production. I can't tell you when your's will ship, but I can tell you that it WILL ship and it WILL be worth the wait.

Neatness I guess. Saw the Hana Mod V3 internals and its set up nicely. Not a guy who is satisfied just because it works. As long as its safe I guess...

It's always easier to make something look "neat" when you've got room to work and the Hana has a whole heck of a lot more room inside. However, some of us would refer to that extra room as wasted space.
I understand, I wasnt putting u out, I really meant what part is troubling you and how could it be different? It could always be passed on to them for consideration.
I personally like the few changes/fixes they made, and to @rossum's point there is not much realestate (left) in a VS. I agree the hana is really nice, but the VS is smaller and is actually shipping
Shipping updated that the device was accepted on 3/18 and will arrive in Hawaii this Saturday 3/22.
In hindsight, not bad, I ordered on the 4th and it shipped out in exactly 2 weeks. The only other DNA30 device I know of that seems to have a quick turnaround time is the Protovaper.

Not really troubling me, just hard to ignore. That if this was my college project, my professor wouldnt give me the highest score lol. Little crap like the battery couldve been wrapped nicer, cables couldve been ran neater or I dunno, I guess they really have no room to work with. Not a deal breaker but just saying.
Oh and my order shows it left Miami now...

Your points are valid, but they're price point reflects those aspects. So as long as its safe which from the sound of it this version has no rattles, we can live with it
I've been on pencil battery and my brother gave me this hacked (see avatar) mod he made for 2 years now. Finally had some time to do some research and went with what is shipping (at a respectable/acceptable timeframe). So if anyone is jolly and needs a mod it yours truly

Seems to me like someone just clicked "complete order" in their system and printed a label just to shut us up instead of, you know, actually shipping anything on the date they say they will... Ug.

Neither am I. This isn't the only package I'm tracking right now and the others are showing status updates just fine.
Placed my order on Feb 4. Says expected delivery date is this Friday so we'll see. No one has posted pics of the dna30 black yet so this makes me even more...anxious?

If mine was an early pre-order (which it was) it should have been in there, and there's a chance it just wasn't scanned by the post office."
So basically "they're certainly going out on Monday" was kind of a fib. (Just like "They're going out on the 15th!") And otherwise it's the same story they told those who were waiting for gunmetal versions, "maybe not scanned" etc.
Eh... I hope it's on the way. (Any future business I might have with VS, especially for pre-ordered items, will certainly be tainted. I dislike the "run-around".)
