You guys were definitely told a big fib. Look at my tracking. It moved right along in the slow first class way. It only said electronic shipping info for a day. Unfortunately for me it arrived and is about two minutes from my house right now. Funny thing is on the same day I claimed my free bottle of juice which did arrive today. Was excited for about half a second when I say an envelope in the box but just as fast realized its way too small lol.

Talk about a roller coaster ride. Sorry for your crappy vape mail day bud. Monday will soon be here. Sunday will pass quicker if ya sleep all day.

Oh its all good. I was just showing the other guys that it should have moved along like mine and not stuck at the electronic information stage so long.

Your a funny guy. I have a three year old. There will be no sleeping all day lol. I keep him busy though so it's lots of fun and the day goes fast.

Question, are they not taking in any more pre-orders at this time? I dont see a way to place an order on their site.

No, they shut down the preorders until they get all the previous delayed preorders out the door and have more coming in. It shouldnt be long I would guess though.

Yeah, and that really pisses me off because I called them Thursday to ask what was up, and Michelle told me she'd check with the shipping department. Heard from her Friday that shipping definitely shipped it and she told me "the mailman who picks up the packages doesn't scan them all because there's so many." I told her that doesn't explain why it hadn't reached a sorting facility in three days and been scanned, but that was as much as she could do.

They flat-out lied and got a bunch of us to change the color we ordered, which doesn't make me feel very good about the company.

If you've ever done any kind of specialty manufacturing, it absolutely can be normal to have delays. Vendors for parts will tell you they will have parts ready on such and such a date and they won't, or there will be something wrong with the first batch of production parts that wasn't an issue with the samples you approved for production. Then you'll have planned to have X number of units assembled per day, and whomever was supposed to do that (be it inside or outsourced) won't be able to get it done, at least initially.

I'm not associated with VS in any way, but I've been there and done that with other stuff, and as I've said before, there's a reason I never take orders for anything I don't have on the shelf, ready to ship. :D

I agree. However, since they are way far delayed with the orders and we can now see units are being delivered, I was expecting they would work extra hours or days to fulfill the orders. I ordered Feb 4. My status still shows processing and was promised this weekend shipping.

I understand there can be delays and manufacturing problems. What is a turn off is them not communicating these as they happened via email and on fb. I told them that when I got called on Wednesday because my order still showed an extra magnetic cable. What we got instead was a song and dance with over promising and outright lies on things like ship dates.

I was happy on Monday because I got a call and was told my device would ship that day. What I wasn't told was the truth, that they'd scrapped the magnetic idea all together for now because of problems. I was just told that they had usb's in stock in gunmetal and would I like to switch. And that in reality they didn't have enough in stock to support demand until yesterday when mine finally shipped.

But I will say a phone call is way better than what I've gotten from most vendors.

Yeah, ordered Feb 5th. Knew it would take some time and that delays were possible. Got the call Monday, or Tuesday, (forgot which) said I'd switch to gunmetal with usb. Got shipping notice Saturday for black. Honestly, not bothered about the color, just happy they are shipping. All communication with them has been responded too fast, though getting through to CS on the phone was a pain lol..

Here a picture of my weekend get away set up. VS DNA20 with KayFun Lite+, 120ml bottle of juice, and a 20,000 mah battery pack with the charge cable from my Itaste VV. This battery pack will keep my cell phone and vapor shark charged for about 5-7 days. I also take the Itaste VV with Protank as a backup.

As a side note my ohm reader got stuck on me. This is a know issue with the DNA board there's 3 ways of fixing it
1. Disconnect/remove the battery wait 5-10 minute then reconnect/reinsert the battery
2. Drain the battery completely until device no longer turns on
3. My favorite of the 3 there's a reset circuit in the DNA board which apparently no one uses that allows the modder/creator to add a reset button.

If you have a device with a non-removable unprotected battery that will continue to work until discharged to the point of no return then you are out of luck as far as method #2 goes. Because once the battery is discharged too low it can not be recharged or will no longer perform at its rated capacity.

Wait so if you completely drain the battery there is a chance you can't recharge it, or at the very least you permanently reduce the capacity of the battery? Since you can't disconnect the battery and there is no reset button are you just SOL if that glitch happens or risk screwing up the device?

Na. I've had my VS 20 resistance lock up on me. You can drain the battery low enough to reset the DNA board. It won't harm the battery in the least. Before I read here it would work I actually did take mine apart and unsolder the battery. Kinda overkill. But I'm an electrician and a nerd so it wasn't tough for me anyway. Also was a good primer for replacing the battery myself in the future. It'll be easy.

Mine finally shipped Saturday! And the tracking number says expected delivery on Tuesday. I don't know if me calling and being persuasive but respectful had anything to do with it, but I'm glad it's finally on its way. I just wish it would get here tomorrow since I'm off only on Sundays and Mondays, but I guess my wife can sign for it and I'll take it to work on Wednesday. I'm loving the positive feedback and the pics so far!

Here's what I think happened: they realized the magnetic wasn't happening and realized they had too many orders for black units to fulfill, so they called us with a story about gunmetal being in stock and shipping Monday, when their order wasn't expected until Friday/Saturday. That way they got a bunch of people to switch to gunmetal, and told their CS people to just string us along on tracking not updating.

I still have high hopes for the device and I'm glad people are liking theirs, but I really don't think I'll be doing any more business with this company.
