In fairness, it's not as easy compared to my VS 30 but I can live with it. Iv'e not done it yet but plan to and I will take some pics. You remove the screws on either end to get started. Their is a vid on youtube for an older model which shows part of the user installation process and I will look for the link.
They will also install the bat free if you ship the unit back and you can even send them your fav bat which they do not sell and they will wire/solder and install.
HTH and I also hope and pray you guys get your VS 40s or find a suitable solution.

Found a suitable replacement. Now to cancel my order and return the skins I bought for it.
I found a vaporflask DNA40 in stock.
I was deciding between the two to begin with and with all the usual vaporshark customer service fails and shipping date being pushed back just like when they released the vaporshark dna30 I'm done. The extra money is worth it now, it should be here before the weekend.

I like the top display but can't get over the "flask" design and not really a fan of dual batteries. I was hoping you found something similar to the rDNA that I haven't seen yet.

VS changed to a magnetic door according to their FB page. Also has a pic of a temp control nautilus coil

Happy with the decision but more communication up front is needed! Don't know why they can't understand that
I wonder if they thought to re-engineer the 510 juice channel into the door crack problem...Seems to me that this might worsen that rather than help it but they posted no pics so that might not be fair....I called to cancel today and the dude talked me out of it because he said I was most likely in the first wave of shipment. Who knows if he made that up or not...LOL.... I figured if I didn't like the mod I could put it on the classies...only a few hours later and nothing is shipping this week.

The other thing is how fast can they produce 500 to 1000 magnetized doors, un-package the ones that were ready, swap doors and repackage in four days? They better have a ton of elves on that....

Totally agreed! I was ready to cancel if it didn't ship tomorrow as Hana's are in stock, and Flasks are to be found. I now don't mind waiting if it means I get a magnetic door. However, I do mind being left in the dark as roumors and hearsay begin to run wild...
Rebel...if you can trust what they tell you on the phone....which I have learned not to....They told me today that pretty much if you ordered by the 16th you would be in the first wave, give or take a few.
So, if I receive one and I don't want it I have a friend here who has a later order in and I could sell it to her or put it up on the classies...LOL...you know who you are =P
