Now I'm contemplating what topper to get... I learned how to do kayfun rbas - got a decent build on a patriot clone... Now thinking of grabbing a Mephisto and/or a magma clone... Pics will be up soon as I get the rDna...
What toppers are y'all using....
Magma and Mephisto! LOL
I know, no help. Very hard choice between those two.

Saw your post and went directly to their web site and ordered one! (Posted Aug 2nd)
And my rDNA Shark Skin arrived today, Thank you Vapor Shark!!! One difference between the dna and rDNA skins - the firing button area is cut out on the rDNA.

A couple of people said the skins feel like rubber? - they feel soft, not grippy but definitely not even slightly slick, kinda just right.

Oh, when you first put it on, just put adrop of VG or water on your figure and rub it around the case and the inside of the skin, at the end you start putting the skin on from.

I've had my rDNA for 5 days so far and like it very much. Running ProTank 2's without any issues. I'm vaping at 8 watts currently with 2.2 ohm. Not into the more advanced tanks/sub ohm yet, but I'm reading up on the subject.

Small correction for the owners manual:
To lock the wattage a setting, you have to press the + and - buttons for at least 5 seconds or more. The display will verify lock mode. Same goes for the rest of the settings. Button(s) must be pressed for at least 5 seconds

The owners manual says to press these buttons for 2 seconds, but really needs 5 or more seconds.

The OLED screen is easy to read and auto dims when the trigger is not pressed. When pressed, the display gets twice as bright. If left unused for more than a few minutes, the display shuts off. There is stealth mode that kills the bottom display, but the blue LED around the PTV button still lights up. The clear cover over the OLED screen appears to be decent. Better than average cheap optical plastics.

The ohm meter seems spot on. My VTR would sometimes give false (?) readings. rDNA seems spot on with ohms.

I went with the bigger VTC5 2600 mah battery for a small upgrade charge ($10) which so far seems to be lasting longer than the same battery in a VTR. Was told to be careful if I change batteries because inserting the battery the wrong way will destroy the rDNA. There is a battery image inside where the battery goes so it would be hard to screw up and put it in backwards. I'm sure some people will do this.

So far, I'm impressed with the rDNA.

Someone on this forum already reportedly did insert the battery backwards. Glad to hear they did something to help.

I put my new Nautilus Mini on my Sigelei v5 this weekend and dig it a lot! I'm also smitten by the VS rdna30! I've read through this thread and checked online but, haven't been able to find a picture of the Gunmetal finish. Or maybe it's so close to the black that I don't recognize it. Can someone post a pic of the VS in the gunmetal finish? Many thanks!

I received my VaporShark rDNA30 today and I am quite pleased with it. I have tried two of my Kayfun Lites with 1.1 ohm builds at 15 watts on it and my Magma with a .6 ohm build all the way up to 30 watts on it. I will be mainly using Kayfun Lites on it and using it when I am out and about town running errands, shopping and such. I think the size and the battery life will make this a great mod for these activities.
Now I have to decide what color SharkSkin to order for it.

Question about the operation.
I thought the DNA30 would only regulate down to 4 volts and anything setting below would cause the ohms reading to flash. Mine seems to regulate down to 3.6 volts. I have a Kayfun Lite with a 1.2 ohm build on it at the present and with the wattage set to 9.8 when I fire it I get a voltage reading of 3.6 and the ohms reading does not flash.

So I plugged charger in to my pluggeg in lap top last night and it did not charge. And I thought there was an indication light somewhere on the rdna to show it is in fact charging? I pulled skin off some of the way to look for that indication light but don't see it. I'll take charging cord to work with me and try plugging into office PC. Any ideas why it didn't charge from lap top ?

Is the major diff between the vaporshark dna30 and the vaporshark rdna30 size and you can use your own batts?

Yap. I'm not an owner of either, but, from what I've gathered the "r" in rDNA signifies a user replaceable/swappable 18650 battery.

Also, I heard the buttons and the "Vaporshark" text written on the rDNA mod have been slightly improved.

Do 22mm attys sit pretty flush on the rDNA, or do they hang over the sides of the mod? Not had any luck finding a close up picture with a KFL+ or a Zenith v2 attached to the mod. Thanks in advance!

I think 22 mm attys will sit flush. Put on a skin and you are certain. But even without one I think that they will.

size and replaceable batteries.. yes
I figured it out. I have to have the lap top open. And the indication light is on the fire button. It's charging now. I should have gotten extra charge cord. Oh well, I'll head back to VS for one.
I use my phone cords, too.. any micro USB will do..

I run mine with a R91, Nautilus, and Mini nautilus. I havent run my TOBH on it yet.. but plan too.. yes.. the R91 sits flush..
