I think they are quality but not anywhere near VF or the xpv ... My rdna 30 broke a month into owning one... Definitely better than any clone, Hana or sigelei... But it's pretty prone to breaking... The 510 is good and the wiring is done well but the case design and paint on the mod isn't great.. And the board is prone to shorting when a little juice gets inside which is very possible ... juice can seep inside the buttons, USB port, the edges of the panels... It took one accident and my daughter board was fried

Many months now I don't have a single issue with my VS-DNA. It's a rock solid workhorse of mine. And where else can I get a DNA device sleeker/tinier than the VaporShark ;)

Maybe their build quality or their process changed because I bought it in September... At that time they didn't have a gun metal paint option

Mine is too once I rewired the daughter board... At one point they only offered the one finish... I think their process changed at that time

Not trying to make excuses for them but it takes more than what you guys are talking about to send out mass e-mails. I agree, other companies of similar size are doing it but don't trivialize it to think you can do it from your desktop or phone.

Mass emails are simple. Constant contact can do it in 4 seconds after importing the email list. The emails are captured in the system.

iStick for $40? If you use 20watts or lower. Smaller then the shark. Even though I like my VS DNA. Like yours mine has been great. The rDNA 30 is another story..

I keep hearing this but in my mind the iStick is just not comparable.

The iStick is great and all for the price, but it uses Vave instead of Vrms so is firing the equivalent of anything up to a volt over what it says on the display compared to almost any other device. It fails to fire several times a day, rattlesnakes like a demon on many coils, and has an unknown chemistry lipo battery built in. I consider it a disposable and only use it for hazardous situations or when absolute minimum size is needed.

My rDNA30 on the other hand fires every single time, it fires what it says, is really smooth, and I can put a battery I consider safe in it (Sony VTC5). No problems of any kind, it has been my daily driver for weeks. The extra money is well worth the reliability and peace of mind to me, I am in the market for another.

Yeah, I did see that in Phil's review. They need to change that and put a spring-loaded center pin. As far as the battery, we don't know what kind of Lipo pack is in any of these mods.

I have the same issues expect mine is all over the map voltage wise I think it uses Vijustmakethischitup.
Mine must be special or there would be a perfect storm about it on-line...
Waiting patiently for my rDNA.

I got an iStick to upgrade from my MVP2. I wanted to get more watts and it does that. But, the voltage being unmanaged I ended up tossing it for a VS rDNA V2. Seemed that I was getting a light burning of the juice on all tanks

The VS rDNA that I got 2 weeks ago is great. Different toppers... all running good. I also really like the rubber-like casing that is offered.

I ordered a rDNA 30 on 10/10 and have been using it for less than two weeks and its on the fritz. The dna display has totally faded on the left side of the screen, I can no longer see the battery icon, and the ohm/volts icons are about half visible. The wattage display is significantly dimmer.

I contacted Vapor Shark and they emailed me a return shipping tag...So I'll be sending it back for repair...which damn sure better be under warranty. I haven't opened the dna board side of the device...though I've been tempted to. I don't want to do anything that they might claim would void the warranty.

I've been reading about the leaking issues with the seam...though I haven't had any toppers leak or at least no evidence of leaking...I've read that some have had issues with juice messing up the boards?

I really liked the thing until the display went south...I also have a little VS DNA 30 and that has been fine. Actually have had better battery life with the little VS DNA 30.

I had considered a rDNA 40 but didn't want to get into a preorder deal...seems there are always delays. Yesterday I got a Hana DNA 40 and so far that thing has been freakin' great.

Haha. My quest to find a dna40 continues to mock me.

Apparently evolv is doing a recall on the dna40 chips, and my flask is gonna be delay for another week.

WAIT. Why does that sound familiar.

Face palm. 2 out of 2. I'm not doing so swell

Do you know what the recall is for?

Correction: the recall is done by vaporflask specifically. Apparently they got a pretty big batch of bad chips: the chip would freeze when you try to fire it up. And it's apparently not just a small portion too; seemed like a sizeable proportion of the chips they have.

I do wanna say that I got this info from the vendor I got the flask from though. They said that VF will be recalling all units to physically test every single one before shipping them out to all vendors.

Kinda makes me worried. I've seen several posts about how evolv is already on the 3rd revision of the dna chip due to various issues. I would NOT be surprised if all rDNA chips are still revision 1s. No clue though
