Welp. Another storm brewing. Buuuut simply put......

- crap beyond VS' control happened = delay

- some folks are unhappy about the delay

- VS quite honestly imo is plain awful when it comes to the whole communications part of CS. I think if anyone is trying to defend that or claim that using ONLY Facebook to communicate important issues is appropriate, is a little. Over the top with fanboyism.

- they've tried to mitigate that with a long explanation and apology

So what now? At this point you can either cancel your order quite very easily, or continue to feel grumpy about it. IMO both are reasonable reactions

In fact, I think coming here to vent your frustration is completely reasonable too.

Buuuuut. Let's be real here. Bringing it up here once, and folks will understand. Whining about it incessantly for the new few weeks will not make your mod come to your faster, and will only serve to annoy other users here.

Soooo... Let's all play nice and come to a little compromise. Some folks are inevitably GONNA be upset about it. Seems fair to me. And those who are more patient shouldn't just trivialize or blast these people

But at the same time, these impatient folks need to know when to stop whining and just either let it slide, or cancel their orders.

See? The world can be a better place if we all give half a crap about being reasonable people.

i've just been watching the vs rdna40 reviews that are popping up recently on youtube to get my fix while i wait for mine lol. seems none of the popular youtube reviewers have gotten their hands on a rdna40 yet, or are probably just holding on and trying it out before they release their reviews.

Actually I would be surprised if they haven't got one yet, given that after the preorder, VS had some units to sell at one of the conventions, and they were filling up orders really quickly before the thanksgiving crapstorm hit.

That said, anyone else think that reviews seem to have slowed down a ton? I've barely had any new videos to watch these few weeks.

they've been releasing a few. i just watched pbusardos first part review of the kanger subtank. didnt do any on the rdna40 or even mentioned it yet, which im mainly waiting for. doesnt seem like any of the popular youtubers have released anything on the rdna40 yet.

A lot of them are using DNA40 mods but only with kanthal. They probably know that nickel is a pain to work with- so they are just avoiding it.

i planned on order some nickel wire after i recieve my vs dna40, what makes it hard to work with? the malleability?

It's really really soft. Which I guess you can consider to be malleable.

Wicking it is a pain because you can easily mess up the coil while doing so

I wouldn't say they are avoiding it. They can recommend a build that works works for them, but that same build may not work for others for a multitude of reasons, that could be a PITA to try and explain. Even when you explain it, the actual application needs to be pretty precise.

Once they put the videos up, they know a flood of comments/emails asking why it isn't working will surely be soon to follow. They are probably waiting for the community to get a better grip on it hoping it will lessen the learning curve.

I wouldn't get my hopes up YT'ers.....lol

Also, even when you do get it right you are not done. Keeping it consistent is a process in itself.

30ga/3.1/7-8wraps/1.8-2.0 ohms/ 420 TP - on my two lemos

Problem: works like a champ for a while after initial fill, then TP starts to kick in too quickly. After a couple primer pulls it Vapes a couple times without TP kicking in but after that it starts all over.

I know my coil is a good spaced coil and I'm pretty sure it's my wicking that's the culprit. Any tricks you guys are using to help keep the juice flow saturation with your wick??

It's not a bad vape When the TP regulates my wattage, it's just better when it doesn't hit TP!!

Can you confirm your resistances? I think you have the decimal in the wrong spot.

I vape it at 23 watts, 430F, and don't get TP during my 3 to 4 seconds drag. I'm using KGD on it tho
