Received my unit yesterday. ....ing magnificent it is. Now if I could just get a nickel build that's worth a damn.

I twisted up some 30awg Ni200 and wrapped up what I figured would be a conservative (spaced) coil (2mm ID, 6 wraps) on my Lemo. Came out to .45ohms. I will keep plugging away at it.

Looks like you might be getting some resistance from your Lemo or 510. 10 wraps of twisted 30ga, 3mm ID gave me 0.15.

sorry guys I'm new to vaping and rDNA,
do you guys have any suggestion of how many watt I should use on both 0.5 ohm and 1.0 ohm build? like where should I start?
I was using Provari before so I don't really know how wattage works, thanks guys!

PS: my juices are mostly 70%VG 30%PG, I'm using Magma rda

Well, I think you are going to get widely varying answers to your question! JOC, I'd set your temp to *410 and start your vape at about 15-17W and work up from there!!
Thanks, if I dont have a nickle setup, do I have to setup my temp? does it work? thanks!

If you don't have a nickel setup, temperature sensing won't work.

I'd just start simple by setting the wattage around 15W and see how it goes. It will display the voltage it's firing at for that particular resistance on the screen. If you're accustom to a particular voltage, just adjust watts up or down until you get the voltage where you want it.

I've found that for me, somewhere between 3.9 - 4.3 volts is usually my sweet spot with the juices I use.

Or, figure out what wattage your juices like and start thinking in watts. It's really whatever works best for you! Just have fun and enjoy :)

thanks Elyptic <3 May I ask a silly question? Do I have to turn off the device when I'm not using it? or I just need to press 5 times to lock it? I was trying to find a user manual but there isn't one.
Sorry I'm completely new and it's my first time having a $200 device XD have a great 2015 guys <3 u all

If I put it in my pocket I'll lock it with the 5 clicks, but that's about it. Otherwise, it turns itself off.

just finished my setup, I like it A LOT compare to my Provari because Provari always get the E1,E2 error when the ohm is too low.
I'm now vaping at 1.0 ohm with around 20W, I think the flavor is 10 time better than my Provari.
One question please, can I turn off the screen?
thank you everyone for helping, hope u all have a great week <3

so far I only have one concern, the juice goes 10 times faster than Provari LOL is there any build I can have the same flavor experience but consume less juice?
I'm using single coil build with 1.0 ohm, vaping at 20W

Here is a picture of my first coil build in my life, please give me some suggestion, is it bad? I'm using 28 guage Kanthal

The only truly bad coil is the one that you can't vape. From there, as I'm sure you'll find, there are a ton of options. If the flavor is good, it's a good coil!

So I'm looking for a good rta to depend on. Debating between the kf v4 heard it leaks and spring is kinda lame, the erlk Heard the builds can be fustrating and then last but not least the lemo. I would consider any rta but building ni coils, I'd like to make my legs as short as possible and still manage room for wicking. I have a kf v3.1 but haven't tried a ni coil on her yet as the chimney looks tight, and I've had problems with long legs on my rdas... any input would be sweet thanks all
