I am assuming that the current orders will be filled within the 10 day projection. All orders placed after the 30 day notification will be subject to the new time frame. At least I hope it will be this way. I ordered an rDNA last Thursday.

That's not necessarily the case. Current orders are also subject to the 30 days even though it was 10 when ordering. The only options available to you should that happen is to wait it out or cancel.

SO.......bad news about the 2nd vaporshark I just got.

JMxeyMI.jpg

Less than 6 hours actual use. Born on date : 2/3

Wierd thing is after I put it in stealth mode and back, it has been working fine for about 45 minutes. Should I be concerned?

Same born date as my replacement. Same screen issue inside the first 24hrs. With that 30 day wait I'm not to eager to send it back. May just report it and see about waiting to return it when their stock improves.

Received my replacement on Tuesday. Same born date as your units, and same issues as you guys have been experiencing. I find myself constantly looking at the screen after every vape, in anticipation of a garbled/scrolling screen. The screen issues don't seem to affect vape quality, so I've been putting up with it. I'm going to hold off in sending this unit back, and hope that I receive a better unit down the road.

I'm wondering if swapping batteries all the time is having the same effect as pulling the battery after it glitches. It stops it for a while. At least that's what I understand from reading these posts. I might try that myself. I've been using, at least while I've actually had it in my possion, the usb charger. Only because I don't have the proper 18650's and it's easier then pulling the skin every night. I'm about to order two batteries so I will be rotating and only using the usb when I have too. If pulling the battery stops the screen issue, even if just for a while, then swapping batteries daily should stop it from happening at all. I'm guessing.

Give it a shot - if it works then maybe the charging usb board is the culprit, but then I would expect it to glitch during charging

Man... This is disappointing! Making me lose a little faith in Evolve here. It was OK with me when it was the early 40 boards, but we're supposed to be under the assumption all is well again here... But vaporshark even had to throw up the 30 days again...

Are people with vapor flasks/etc having these same issues I assume as well?

Sigh...... I guess this is how everyone sees us outside this thread...

,... on other thoughts this is damn funny, no pun intended.

Ended up talking to VS. Orders that had the 10 day wait should arrive within the 10 days.

I kind of figured that. With all of the bad publicity the DNA 40 is getting, Vapor Shark cannot afford that kind of poor customer service. Promising someone 10 days processing time, taking their money, and then increasing processing time to 30 days would be very bad business. Even Fasttech is better than that.

I actually ended up getting my shipping notification tonight. Can't wait!

The saga continues at Evolv...

[hitler video]
...

what can I say.....

.. this is EPIC FUNNY...

That one is pretty funny and it's more original than the other despite how much that video has been used, the first was just a poor retread of the Nvidia 970 video.

970 video:

I still think that there has been some bad batches due to how the reports have been in clusters, not that it excuses the issue or makes it better for those dealing with it.

Got some tempered nickel from stealthvape. This stuff is MUCH easier to work with! Stable 0.12 Ohm, temp limit set to 470F, 30watts. Not even hitting temp protection so I could maybe crank those settings up a bit, but I like where it's at just fine.

What's your coil diameter, how many wraps, and what is the gauge of the tempered nickel?

One important thing to remember. For every 1 person that has an issue with any dna40 device whether its the VF or VS etc.... There are probably hundreds enjoying the same device problem free. It can be misleading reading the forums sometimes. The negatives get posted readily while the positives often go unmentioned.

I can attest to this. I have been running a Hana DNA40 since November and now a Big Screen rDNA for a month without issue. Both of my devices have been rock solid since day one.

I would like to be a person to say the positive since we do tend to lack that in threads like this from time to time.
