Got my rDNA40 back from VS today. Initially thought I didn't get the latest board, but once I got it home and put a nickel build in it I saw the atty lock. I have been using it for a few hours now and no screen glitches. I would venture to say it is working better than I have seen before.
I have built my share of Ni
coils with much success, but I could rarely vape above 28watts/450F or so on my .12Ω 8 wrap 2.5 ID spaced coils. Anything higher and I would tend to hit TP. I was fine with that as I have always liked a cooler vape anyway. My current coil is a .13Ω with the same specs I just listed and, for testing purposes, I bumped it up to 40watts/450F and am not hitting TP. I actually had to bump the watts down, the vape was warmer than I like and the flavor was almost too intense (I add menthol to my Freckled Lemonade). Just for the record, I am not using the "atty lock".
Maybe it is just me, but I don't think the new lock feature and screen fix is the only improvements Evolv made to this board.
