My vaporshark paint almost came completely off. They wouldn't replace it so I sent it in to OCD mods to repaint it. I know how yall feel about the paint job

I have never heard of OCD mods but that sounds like a company I need to work with lol. I ended up selling my Vaporshark

Got my rDNA40 back from VS today. Initially thought I didn't get the latest board, but once I got it home and put a nickel build in it I saw the atty lock. I have been using it for a few hours now and no screen glitches. I would venture to say it is working better than I have seen before.

I have built my share of Ni coils with much success, but I could rarely vape above 28watts/450F or so on my .12Ω 8 wrap 2.5 ID spaced coils. Anything higher and I would tend to hit TP. I was fine with that as I have always liked a cooler vape anyway. My current coil is a .13Ω with the same specs I just listed and, for testing purposes, I bumped it up to 40watts/450F and am not hitting TP. I actually had to bump the watts down, the vape was warmer than I like and the flavor was almost too intense (I add menthol to my Freckled Lemonade). Just for the record, I am not using the "atty lock".

Maybe it is just me, but I don't think the new lock feature and screen fix is the only improvements Evolv made to this board.

I believe you are correct, Randy.

My rDNA30 to 40 upgrade, received a couple of days ago, is also performing better than expected, with higher wattages more available. I was very surprised to see the Lemo, and Drop, handling 40 watts. :)

Here is an OCD Mods Shark that VJ posted a little while back. They do nice work.

gotta say I'm very happy with vapor shark customer service this week. Sent rdna (born on 2/10) in with screen glitch problem & unexpectedly received a brand new vs 4-5 days later. Was thinking of selling before this experience but now, bury me with this device mom! I prefer cremation actually but the temp control may kick in & spoil the fun. Morbid octa morbid. But seriously, the new one hasn't glitched, battery indicator seems a lot more accurate & battery life is also much longer so far. Thanks VS!

I'm pretty sure they're just changing out the boards. This is a reply I got when I sent in mine with the screen glitch:

"We will replace the board with a new updated board and test it before we send it back out. Please note this may take 1 week as we have quite a bit of these repairs to conduct at the moment."

Well the few scratches I'd collected were gone & box was shrink wrapped as if new. There's no born on sticker inside battery compartment but it has newest chip w/ resistance lock. It did glitch yesterday for a second while I checked out another dripper w/ super low resistance that hadn't been used in months. Gonna keep the black condom on this time to avoid scratchin'
