It's honestly too bad that the battery is hardwired. I was looking forward to vaporshark releasing something to compete with the faulty cloupor mini. My wallet is safe.

The battery is hardwired to maintain the small form factor. They offer the rDNA with a replaceable battery. Compete with a $30 mod? Really? I'm looking forward to Ferrari releasing something to compete with the Ford Mustang.

*And there have been no more reports of faulty Mini's since the very first batch.

I got to hold one at the vape shop and this thing is tiny. I was shocked. They made the device as small as possible and made it smaller. I don't care about the non replaceable battery as the is got to be used for the times i need a small mod. At only 160, this is a steal.

Yep. Very tempting. If I didn't have a bunch of DNA40 boards coming, I would've ordered one already.

I'm still waiting for someone to retrofit a dna40 in the cloupor mini. That would be a device I would have to have. If cloupor could manage a replaceable 18650 in that small form factor seems like VS could have pulled it off as well.

They could have. But then they would be selling only one device instead of two.

Well I love the new vaporshark dna40. I posted this picture. Yes it has the regular kanger subtank on it and it looks weird but gotta love that tank with the .16 ohm temp sensing coils, what a cloud little cloud machine. I did order the kanger mini for those interested but they messed up the order and me sent me the regular...lol vaporshark dna40 with full sized kanger subtank.jpg:ohmy:

So, what's the verdict on these? Had to dig just to find the thread.

Let's just say, I got one in last week. As a result, I just sold my rDNA40, and my DNA30 that was upgraded with a DNA40 board, and ordered a second one this morning. Love this mod! Same performance of any Evolv DNA40 box, size without sharkskin is the same as the dna30 with sharkskin, but battery life is the same as the rDNA was. What's not to love about it!

Also, you see a lot of hate on these boards when there is a delay due to demand of the rDNA, or a pre-order takes longer than one hopes. The first DNA40 I ordered shipped the next day after I ordered. The one I ordered this morning shipped within 2 hours (was probably within the hour, but I'll give the haters benefit of doubt here). Also anytime I've had to deal with their CS is has gone as well or better than any other company.

Well, there are plenty of shops with the rDNA in stock now so there's no need to wait. My buddy wants to get one but can't decide between models. Good to hear it's awesome though.
