update some drippers will go out tommorrow and the rest on wednesday ,everything is finished up but i ran out of hardware , I opened a new box of screws to discover i was sent the wrong size , they were labled right but were too long but new ones are on the way

this is actually the production cap , it is similar to the prototype
Got my dripper today, but was expecting this cap. Instead I got to other one. I am so confused. This is why I asked the question before putting my name on the list, and JHerron himself responded. The one I got is nice but not the cap I was expecting or wanted. What to do here? Great quality workmanship but don't think I want it anymore. I followed this thread ever since I ordered and no mention whatsoever of a change in the look. This page alone has 2 different styles in the pics.

If your unsatitsfied with the style of the cap you can send it back and I'll make one to the style that suits your needs .

I appreciate that offer, but seriously what happened? When did you decide to change the style? And was it announced somewhere else? Did we have a choice as to which cap we wanted? None of this is clear, as I know there's others are probably wondering also. Don't get me wrong. The atty you sent is top notch, but if I order a Ferrari and you send me a Lamborghini, I'm gonna be caught off guard. I'd hate to wait an extended period of time for another cap. Still trying to figure out what I want to do. I'll send a PM when I decide.

Do you not read the posts in your thread, JHerron? No one else can answer the questions either because they're probably wondering too. People have been confused for months as to what the dripper was gonna look like. You only ever clarified my inquiry, but still that wasn't the one. Can you answer my questions first before putting up pics of your drip tips? It baffles me how you can advertise a design, have people sign up on a list for that design, wait 3 months for it, make them pay for that design, and then send them something completely different. That's just bad business, IMO. No other modder in the world would do that. I waited 3 months for something that I didn't get, and I think it's in your best interests to answer, because I know for a fact I'm not the only one that was surprised when I opened my package. Others were too. You need to designate someone to handle the customer service so you can just make the atties, because communication is not your forte.
So unfortunately, I'm just gonna keep the one you sent, or maybe throw it in the classies somewhere or give it away as a Christmas gift. I don't want to wait another month or two because I know how backed up you are.
I changed the look if the top cap to be more in line with the stratus19 and stratus22 . It was only a cosmetic change to the dripper. I'm sorry you do not like the look of the top cap but my offer still stands to you or anyone else is unhappy .
Update : some big changes are happening , I will no longer be making the atomizers by hand they will all be produced by cnc starting with the stratus22 and the others to follow . The cnc process for the 22 has already begun. The atomizers will be available at one vendor only . I will still be making quality hand made drip tips and other custom one offs that I will be available here on the forum . Due to ECF rules I cannot post a link to the vendor but the info will be easily found on my website
