To my delight the Vmods came today. Although, it took a few days for them to process the order it sure was fast shipping. I am loving this mod and had no problems at all getting it assembled and ready to vape. The instruction info is great and everything went smooth. For now I am using the 2.2 silo cart and will try the hybird atty tomorrow.

I am hooked on bottom feeders and no more fiddling around with tanks for me. This thing is working great and did I say I love it? Looks like a Reo is my next mod.

Awesome news tippyclubb! These are great little devices, I don't know why there's not a lot of love around the boards for them. I've gone a full 2 days without charging, the juice capacity is incredible, and no having to drip onto an atty - which I think has amazing flavor! Super pocket friendly and feel great in the hand, too!

I kind of slammed Vapage the other day about their slow service, but I totally just received my order yesterday - Very fast! The status on their site still says processing and I never got an e-mail... I mean, it's in my hands, so I can't complain, but it sure does get you anxious when you see the days going by and see no update. ...It could be because they were out of stock on the bottles though, which sort of boils my blood. They were out of something every time I ordered from them. First order was the black vmod xl, out of black so I got silver (which is still cool, I don't mind at all), next order they were out of atomizers, this third order they're out of bottles, and my friend just jumped into vaping and went straight for the vmod xl, but when he went to order, they were all gone. It'd be different if it was a third party vendor who was out, but how can the main company run out of stuff?!? Like... if the grocery store ran out of Campbell's tomato soup, well, whatever - but if Campbell's ran out of tomato soup, it'd raise some eyebrows! Just like the time I went to a KFC who ran out of chicken. How does that happen??? lol.

I may get irritated at times, but I can't deny the awesomeness of the vmod. This thing is just a BEAST! I love it!

they take so long to ship because theyre constantly getting back to people with their tracking numbers LOL, which should be automatically included in the email.

+1 on hating that they are always out of something. i think they do it on purpose to make you spend more. its hard to believe that they are actually out. like said above, its the darn company itself...how in the world can they a) not have the product or at least b) order more product well before said product runs out. ?

but alas, i love my vmod 2.0. great little device. i just got an A7 RBA for mine so im excited to get that puppy up and running. i only wisj i had done some reasearch on the vmod 2.0 vs the vmod xl. the XL is kickable, while the 2.0 is not. dang it. oh well, looks like i saved myself $45 or whatever a Kick costs. no biggie. ive got plenty of other VV options.

HAHA!! That explains it!!

Please post your thoughts on the A7 when you get it, I'm really curious! I'm not as interested in it's performance (I gather that's more on the user who's building it), but it's function on the Vmod. You know, screwing on, making contact, holding the sleeve onto the chassis, no leaks, and proper feeding. I'm wanting to branch out and try more atomizers, so far I've only used the Vapae Hybrid ones (AMG/"shifu"). They've been doing a bang up job for me, no complaints, but I'm always down for similar performance at cheaper cost. A compatible RBA would be awesome!

Well, day 6 with no vmod. Tacking today finally updated for first time since Tuesday morning. Somehow, in that amount of time, my package has only gone from California to Texas, which is odd, considering I live in South Dakota. This is obviously not Vapage's fault, but what is their fault is that I paid for priority shipping and they sent it first class, which really bothers me. I am also a little ticked that they won't take back the hybrid atty that ruined my other vmod. It shorted and melted the hotspring on my vmod within 10 minutes of being out of the package. So far, out of the 4 that I have ordered, 2 have worked, and 1 has burnt up the hotspring. I understand we roll the dice with a lot of ecig products, it's the nature of the game, but most companies stand behind their products. I just don't like the way vapage does business. It might be time to get a Reo. Having someone take ownership in their products is enough to get me to switch, at this point.

edit: Sorry for the rant, I need to add again that I love this mod, just not happy with the service. Other vendors that I use (steammonkey, DV, AVE juice, smartvapes, etc.) have raised the bar so high that I expect to be treated like a person. I'll probably go on ordering from vapage, but I am seriously considering getting a REo.

Sorry your having to wait so long for your package and the poor customer service from Vapage. We sure do get spoiled from other vendors and there quick shipping and great customer service. Its hard to deal with, when all vendors cannot be as good, which there is no excuse for.

I too am getting a Reo within the next few months and I'm curious of what a difference the Reo will be other than looks. I really love this Vmod, but most of all I love it because its low maintenance and no fiddling around with tanks, leaks, carts,. It works flawlessly with each vape and I love that every puff is consistent in taste. I am assuming the Reo will perform just as well, if not better? All I know is I'm excited to find out. I plan on getting the Reo Woodvil White Teak Burl 2.

Perhaps your package will arrive tomorrow so stalk the mailman.

I've refreshed the USPS site so many times! But yeah, hopefully tomorrow. I only vape Boba's out of my vmod, so I'm craving it pretty badly. 100% vg is a pain in the @$$ in just about everything else, other than my RBAs, so the vmod is great for that reason.

Everything I've read about the REO has been positive. I worry a bit about the catch cup style of BF, I wonder if that makes it less pocket friendly? With the vmod, I've never had a single leak, so that has been a big selling point. I have been keeping my eye on the blem section at REOS mods, so maybe I'll pull trig if I see one I like. I'd buy a polished grand brand new if one popped up, too.

Good luck with that... From what i've read in the past 6+ months, (maybe longer), there will be no future runs on woodvil's anymore....

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'll have to find another one but 'm sure that won't be hard to do as so many of them are beautiful.

Guess I better start hanging out in the Reo section.

If you have your heart set on a wooden feeder, you might want to contact Marcus over at Bogger. He can make one out of any wood you want. There is a thread on the forum for them and here is the link to the site....

i'll try

1)Yes its the AMG one, best purchase at least 2 sets of hybrid for your atty rotation

2)There have been people that successfully recoiled them as a DIY project

3) 1.8 should be best , 1.5 a little hot when on fresh batts

4) should be protected, thought i see a thread somewhere or last i check a mates vmod2.0

5) personally i dont use the cartos, just the hybrids, and they last between 2 weeks before it needs a vodka bath, open up a new one for rotation then; there is an atty thread that talks about atty maintainance (some have had luck between 2weeks to months); i swear i was reading it somewhere (however cant seem to find it now)

other vmodians please do correct me if i get it wrong

Cheers

Who knows, those Coils could easily be dipping down to 1.4 or 1.3 ohms - anybody got a multimeter?

I've gone off the deep end and ordered a vmod xl and a Reo vv grand. Had I jumped on this earlier I'd probably be happy with a 2 for 1 vmod deal, but oh well.

I'm just looking forward to tasty vapes & good, well designed products. Sucks that the good products aren't well known.

I do plan to use the Kick with the vmod, just not sure on the battery configuration yet..
