Probably wrong, but with any new app I go into the Settings and make sure that I got all the boxes ticked that I want. GL

Unfortunately Tapatalk images are broken for me, too, as of the last day or two. Images work fine on other sites, just ECF is broken.

Please fix ECF Tapatalk functionality. Tapatalk Participated Threads and web URLs have been broken since the "upgrade", and now even still images aren't served.

I've been an ECF member for 8 years, this is really disheartening. Tapatalk has worked fine here for years, and continues to work well for other sites.

Not sure if this is due to the move or what, so I will ask here first.

In the upper right of the page is "Alerts" to see when someone likes (or whatever) your post, tag's you, etc. But it seems I am not getting all the alerts, just some every now and again. For example, I made a post this morning, and in my alerts page it shows 2 likes.

But if I go to the post, there are 10 likes (but I didn't get notified of the other 8)

So I am not getting alerted properly. Any ideas what the problem is?

I think the repetitive "alert" system has been removed. I think you might get one if someone gives you a "new" icon, but if you want to know how liked your post is and who did so, I think you have to hit "list" at the bottom of your post. I could be wrong, but that is how it appears to me. It cuts down on clutter IMO, but maybe there is a way to set it so you get each individual alert. I don't know though.....

Even if it did not show up here

It should still show up when I go to "Show All" and it takes me to my Alert page, it used to work, and now it does not, which is why I asked about it.

Alerts are pretty much toast on Tapatalk, too. I'm not getting push notifications for ECF, when I manually check notifications in TT things aren't showing.

Please fix the Tapatalk interface, things just keeping getting more and more broken.

I fixed it by removing the forum and re-adding it

It shows up now as "ec forum"

Choose to login with new username/password. Your existing ECF login will be broken, as it points towards the old ECF Tapatalk connection.
Provide your normal ECF username and password.
Participated Threads, Web View, image display, etc. should now be working.

Just followed these instructions and it worked for me!

Tapatalk is primarily all third party. All we do is host their files that allows them to mirror the forum and present it in their own format. Other than that, we have absolutely nothing to do with Tapatalk. It's all on them.

And honestly, as an Admin, I despise Tapatalk. On my own sites, it has been ripped out by the roots and will never see the light of day again. It's a security nightmare, often doesn't follow site permissions, and in general, is a royal pain to administer on a site.

Why don't they just put stuff like this in the Banner at the Top of the screen? And have a way to Opt-Out. Even if a person is Blocking 3rd Party Cookies.

I like contests, I do, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new format of "some" contests.
