Woohoo! 80 today 82 tommorow and it's supposed to hit 85 Sunday :) I can work on my tan while other parts of the country are shoveling snow.

Tans are overrated. Take it from a black guy. I actually hate heat more than cold. In the summer I can look at the sun inside and begin to sweat. As far as shoveling... that's what having a son is for. Wait he's spoiled and lazy... my snow removal contractor is for.:vapor:

If you get out to Tucson be sure to take a drive up to Mount Lemmon. Pretty awesome drive up there and some really nice views of Tucson. Once you get over 4500 feet it turns into a forest with real trees not these little desert trees we have down in Tucson. This time of year the ski lodge might even be open.

SA's can't be Supporting Members. :(

I think there may be some other option for getting more space if you're an SA, but I haven't looked into it.

I paid the $25 to be a supporting member before becoming an SA. Afterward, they removed "Supporting Member," but left my extra space for pm's.

Yup Mt Lemmon is great, especially in the summer. It's usually atleast 20 degrees cooler than in the valley and it's a nice place to go have a picnic in the shade on a hot summer day.

Yeah I was a little bummed after becoming a SA and seeing I had lost my supporting member line. I do still plan on repaying when the time comes.

That's funny, because up here in Washington as soon as it hits 60°, the shorts come out of the closet and 90% of the convertibles are driving around with their tops down :)

I was born in Connecticut and lived there for 24 year. After that, I lived in Maine for about 9 years while I was working for a Semiconductor up there. When it hit 55, I was outside in shorts and a T-shirt. At 65, we were swimming in the lake. The water was warm once it hit about 50.

Now I have been living in Florida for over 6 years. At 70, I am wearing a jacket. At 65, my teeth are chattering.

It is funny how the body adjusts.
