Not particularly bothered about it, they can't ban silica wick, wire, PG / VG and flavouring that are all legally sold. What else do i need? :)

How about your brother/sister or best friend that still smokes, what will they need?
This fight has been going on since 2009, so many of us have had plenty of time to prepare. Now it's time to make sure that others have the same opportunities.

I have read it. Just because you're scared and want to assume the worst doesn't mean I have to. You know what they say about assumptions....

I'm not scared. I already have about 8 years of inventory on hand for myself. Just trying to warn others that may not be aware of all the details in this proposal. If you wish to stand on the railroad tracks and wonder what that distant light could be, that's your choice.

My nic level is at 1.2% now.
I should be wearing out 0% in a couple of months..

That's not because of the FDA or anything like that.
That was just the plan i had from the start.

Still, i'm contributing where i can and supporting this movement and getting as many as i can to at least give vaping a shot over their smokes.
There are way too many people still out there that need this to be around for them..
It's just too awesome to be in the hands of the FDA and out of theirs.

Bob92985, if you read it, then you didn't get it. It's entirely up to you to not worry and feel smug about it. For others that don't quote grasp what the concern is, take a look at this FDA cracks down on

Ok everyone I know this is a hot topic and its being debated and analyzed in several other threads.
I don't want us to argue, but rather share ideas.

I don't know if I should worry and stock up or not. I figure there is no harm in preparing just in case.

For me its like I told my husband when he thought that doomsday preppers show came out.
He said they were all nuts, and I said, "maybe, but they are either nuts, or, they are right, and we are the stupid ones"
Are vapers stocking up on everything? Just nic?
Are u ready for awhile? How long? Month, year, more?
I have read the FDA stuff, but I am just a regular person and alot of it just starts to run together.
But, I am sure that's what they want.... :(

I wasn't really planning on cutting down the nic level or stopping, but I plan to now. I don't plan on stoping vaping though. Just 0 nic if I can. I'm also going to try and stop buying devices where you can't remove and replace the battery, but this will prove difficult with my husband. He has his device and he won't budge. ITaste VV v3. 6 months old and one is definitely on its way out. They were worth it for $25, don't get me wrong. Great little vapes. They just aren't suitable if the FDA bans them all save for cigalikes. I got myself a Provari, but I'm even a little worried about that. That chip can't last forever, right?

Stocking up on nic base now. I will probably get a very high quality mod, like a ZNA which, if properly cared for, should last me the rest of my life. I will buy more KFL+ clones to stash away just in case, and perhaps a couple more cheap regulated mods, think SVD or VTR, again to put up until they are needed.

I see getting the nic base as most important right now. This month's purchase will have me at a bit above 2L of 100mg/ml base. I will be happy at 4L. They are going to tax the crap out of e-liquid eventually, so I look at it as a huge cost saving. I don't worry too much about batteries or kanthal wire or flavors. The way I see it going down, liquid will be first, devices next. My priorities are in that order.

I have a ProVari and was wondering that too. I know these things last for a long time and are very durable, but just how long will the chip last? 4 years? 7 years?

I have quite a few authentic Russians and Kayfuns with a lot of Kanthal in 100 ft rolls. I also have several dripping atomizers and mechanicals. The only thing that concerns me about stocking up is how will I get nic once my stash is depleted? A scary thought! You can only have so much storage room in your freezer. And what about all our fellow Vapers who may not have the money to stock pile nic juice? Sure... There may be a black market down the road but I'd still bet it would cost an arm and a leg for juice or nic base because it will be scarce. Our best strategy is to fight this regulation but still stock what we can. I just dread several years out if this thing goes through.
