Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, had the highest nationwide minimum wage at 1,320 yuan ($207) per month with Beijing having the highest minimum hourly wage at 13 yuan ($2) per hour, said Yin.
from 21 regions across in China raise minimum wage - People's Daily Online

However, you really need to consider the cost of living as well.. It's much lower than it is here. Still, I buy only products who's labels say made in the US or made in Canada. I would do the same thing with the PV if we had some here that I could afford. I'm on a pretty tight budget.

It is definitely possible for America to manufacture products with prices that can compete with Chinese products. I bought Made in USA flip flops for $12. They are the best and cheapest flip flops I have ever owned. The company is Okabashi.

However with all the BS regulations and "tobacco nazis" that America has, e-cig manufacture probably isn't feasible unless you make the high end stuff that we see.

I agree with supporting American made products. I only buy American made juices especially from smaller vendors like HHV, Fuzion Vapor, and VapenNY since there local.
My pockets can't really afford a Provari so I'm looking to get a Zmax mini, Are they made in the US?

If so does anyone know a good vendor to order one from. None of the vendors I've ordered from in the past have them.

*Edit- Actually I just realized Gotvapes has them :vapor:

Oh look, another thinly disguised provari fanboy thread.

Protip: Electronic Cigarettes were invented by a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik.

POSTED FROM MY TIAWANESE MANUFACTURED iPHONE.

If you look at my original post, i didn't mention anything about provari products. People mentioned many American made products and I welcome anyone who wants to talk more about a specific American product.

I am sharing my views on how most global manufacturing exploits people to make inferior products. There is a reason that the Foxconn factory that makes i-phones has to put nets around their buildings to prevent the workers from committing suicide by jumping from them.

Were they making e-cigaerretes? No. So name the ecig manufacturers that have those conditions please.

I don't know how the e-cig manufactures treat their workers. But most Chinese manufactures exploit their workers and poor quality products result from this. So the amount of DOA and inconsistency of e-cig products leads me to believe that e-cig manufacture is no different.

Have you bothered to research? Jobs in ecig factories are highly sought after in China. Distributors from the US have been there, and still go there for R&D. They report good conditions.

That is good to hear but i would still rather give my business to an American company that creates jobs for Americans. And i think that you would feel the same way about a New Zealand company.

Fine, and you can do that without misinformation about ecig production. As for buying locally - maybe. Depending on the price. We are big on exports here, and trade. If a company here make a product I want for a reasonable price I might buy it - but I wouldn't express my preference the way you do.

They report good conditions on what they are allowed to see and what they are told. I've seen some of the videos of those adolescents working away. Most of the videos are shot very cleverly to avoid you being able to tell they are young children. I'm not going to defend companies/countries who make children work.
