GREAT name, Denali. Not only is it an awesome piece of nature, but it's also one of my favorite mods of all time. I wasn't worthy of it, and had to let mine go, but it's NOT because I didn't ADORE it.

All that being said, jumping on The Ocelot is less advised that hating on Provari. She might even have more fanboys than it (present company included), which also might be good information for you to know. As others have indicated, a "hater" she is NOT.

Proceed with caution - and have 100% confidence that what might have been inferred was definitely NOT implied.

Humor is everywhere, if we choose to see it.

I'm still confused. Was he implying that I hate ProVaris? That I hate him? Does he drink?

Anyway, I sent him a PM and apologized for the misunderstanding. Hopefully it won't be misconstrued. I think I was able to keep most of the words under 3 syllables.

OP: Does anyone know where I could get a lanyard for my eGo?
Fanboi: A Serenity sleeve looks great on my ProVari (Serenity doesn't make anything for eGos)

OP: I'm getting into DIY juice. What vendor has the best raspberry flavor?

Fanboi:
well in that instance the Provari insert has some merit:
ie my kayfun performs much better on my provari then any of the ,mec.regulated VW or pulse VW ,,or VV mods for that matter

but the kayfun is hungrier for more power then other attys

5 possibly 5.5; extra credit for working in the Kayfun.

and thats how haters play
(quoting the above post)

Well... rest of us must have missed something... what did you say before:p?
read the post i quoted ,its very obvious

Edited to add all the relevant posts. I think Denali thought Ocelot was picking on him.

I'm glad you asked. It seems that I was vaping at 3.5 v on a 2.2 oHm rebuilt coil (ProTank). I'm not sure why my ProVari was set so low. :( No wonder the taste was lacking. I turned it up to 4.1v and now everything tastes fine.

1.8-2.5 oHm coils, 3.8-4.2 volts seems to be the sweet spot for me, with tobacco flavors.

edit: Now I remember why I had it set to 3.5v. I had a Aga-T with a 3.0 oHm coil on there earlier. I need to rebuild that one with lower oHms. 4.1v just gave me a burned taste.

I don't do the Watts conversion. I just vape to taste. I know if I make my coils within certain tolerances (1.8-2.5 oHms) I can get a good vape out of it. Certain dessert flavored juices require the voltage to be in the 3.5v range for me, but that is the exception, rather than the rule. I vape most everything at 4.2v when using silica. I'm finding that cotton is less forgiving, but easier to work with when rebuilding coils.
Fanboy rating? anyone?

I appreciate the break down, but it started a couple of pages earlier (I've edited the posts for brevity)

It takes a certain wisdom to appreciate the ProVari, some people are lucky the attain this level of wisdom early on.

Some it takes a little longer but eventually the see the light and bow to the wisdom.

Some will search forever and never find that wisdom.

Me thinks this young grasshopper has not found the wisdom yet and I fear may never find it.

In some circumstances lack of enlightenment might be a good thing. There are people who visit here just to taunt us who I would prefer never get a ProVari. I want as little in common with them as possible. And if they do finally get one they tend to turn into the most obnoxious fanbois.

How can a fanbois be obnoxious:)?

The ones I find particularly tiresome are those who continuously insert into their posts that they have a ProVari when it's completely irrelevant. They may be very excited and want to share their joy, but other people see it as bragging. For example, the OP may ask what vendor people think has the best raspberry flavor and our fanboi responds, "Well, on my ProVari I like to vape..."

"Well, on my ProVari I like to vape..."

well in that instance the Provari insert has some merit:
ie my kayfun performs much better on my provari then any of the ,mec.regulated VW or pulse VW ,,or VV mods for that matter

I seriously thought he was playing along. Is the difference between raspberry flavoring and how a Kayfun vapes really that subtle?

ETA: Oh wait! Was there a problem because I forgot to put in a smiley?

What? No. you just look at the post, note the number of times the word ProVari is used, add a point if the V is capitalized, and subtract points for subtlety. Simple.

Wait. It's morning? Time to go to bed!

Considering we are in the same time zone it appears hedgehogs are as nocturnal as ocelots.

 Why do I feel like I should be offended by that?

Wan't meant to offend, it was meant in a light hearted manner. You seem like a good person, my apologies if I did offend you.

ChiefAllDay, it seems many threads get sidetracked. I have seen some that within a few pages have absolutely nothing to do with the original subject. One that I really enjoyed turned into a food post, it got so far off the subject that I can't even remember what the original post was or who posted it.

Another one that I really enjoyed ended being more of a social thread that got moved to the lounge, that thread is were I got to know TheOcelot and EddardinWinter among many others.

The one thing I really like about the Provari is that when the voltage on the battery drops - the chip still give a great vape. For example - once my bat drops to about 3.7 on the VAMO - the vape is not yuck - but doesnt have the YEAAAAAAHHHHH feeling.

I have about $220 left from my xmas shopping. Should I get a Provari or about 8 more VAMOS? lol..............

When using a Kayfun with my ProVari, I get reliable voltage to deliver to my coil, every time. The ProVari is the only mod I would run an RBA on. I think a Semovar will serve just as well, but I haven't used one.

I love my ProVarii, all three of them.

(Please score it, Princess)

Vaping two VAMOs @ 3.7 simultaneously should produce clouds.

The mini and regular are the same price - always.
The difference in the starter kits price is the BATTERIES.
Mini comes with 18350's and Regular comes with 18490's.

on the Provape site there is only $3.00 between the mini and the regular kit....$209 -vs- $212 is that the norm or is the regular one on sale or something.
