She decided that my vape gear was making me go crazy and ruining my health, so she took about $200 worth of my vape gear (SVD, SS Zmax, with Protanks and batteries) while I was in the shower getting myself ready to go to work, and took them to a creek near our house, and tossed it all in.........she believes that I'd be better off to go back to analogs......
...........
...........

The truth is that in the last six of the eight months since I'd quit the analogs, I've felt like a million bucks! I am of sharper mind than I think I've ever been in my entire life too.

So I took away her smokes, and now I feel kinda sick from smoking analogs because my order of 3 SVD's, 3 Protanks, and 4 batteries will take a few days to get here........and in the meantime......
...........
...........
...........
Now I sit and wonder which one of us is the dumbest of the two....not sure really....
..........
..........
..........
you just can't fix stupid, can you?:p
..........
..........
..........
Isn't life funny?

Your wife needs her smokes taken away frequently. That was completely uncalled for and she had no right.

Take hers away until you've reached the $400 mark to make up for what you've lost. Tack on interest for her trying to poison you with the carcinogens in analogs.

I'm sorry but I'm ...... off for you and probably not being rational right now.

That seems pretty childish to me.

I would seriously question someone, spouse or not, who had such low respect for my stuff. Whether she liked it or not, throwing it in a creek is just stupid and childish.

I would say to take her cigarettes and throw them into the creek as well, however that is just responding to childish antics with the same childish antics. You need to just tell her to grow up.

Sometimes when we make positive changes in our lives people around us do not cope well. It can be for many reasons.

An example my first husband got pretty frighteningly nasty when I lost 50 lbs. He couldn't cope with the idea that I was looking good and others were looking at me.

Since your lady smokes I suspect it is something closer to her than that. She is running out of excuses to herself not to make the switch. So in the ensuing panic making you go back to cigs (which are in her comfort zone) seemed the best solution.

Even so it is totally out of line.

Yeah, maybe she misses her smoking buddy. My boyfriend quit before I did, but it encouraged me to stop smoking. Even though I didn't want to. Had no desire to.

Still, I'm stunned for you.

OMG! My chin hit the floor as I read this!

Really?!? She tossed it?

Could be more of a jealous feeling that caused her to do this? That you're able to quit and she doesn't have her analog partner any more?

Oh yes really she did. I haven't been able to figure her out, back when I first started she took about one or two tiny hits off one of my e-cigs, then decided on the spot that it was of no value, and rejected the entire idea. I've tried to coax her into at least giving it a chance but she is very stubborn......yes, think mule.

why do married or even engaged people think it makes them the other persons mommy or daddy or boss???
I don't think I could live with someone who didn't respect my things, my privacy or my right to be an individual! :(

I agree, and told her that she had just crossed a line that I allow no one to cross with me, and that is my rights as an individual human to do as I please with my body, and as I see fit, since I am the sole owner of same, and I gave away none of those rights when I married.

Everybody makes mistakes, gets emotional and acts stupid. You can forgive her but that doesn't erase her asinine behavior. Smack her on the bridge of her nose with a rolled up newspaper and firmly exclaim "Bad wife"!

Really, I'd just keep buying more and better vape gear every time she does this. If she starts to complain about how expensive it's getting she's the one to blame. In the meantime, you get fresh new gear every time she does what the voices tell her.
