What my crazy (analog smoker) wife did yesterday.......

She decided that my vape gear was making me go crazy and ruining my health, so she took about $200 worth of my vape gear (SVD, SS Zmax, with Protanks and batteries) while I was in the shower getting myself ready to go to work, and took them to a creek near our house, and tossed it all in.........she believes that I'd be better off to go back to analogs......

The truth is that in the last six of the eight months since I'd quit the analogs, I've felt like a million bucks! I am of sharper mind than I think I've ever been in my entire life too.

So I took away her smokes, and now I feel kinda sick from smoking analogs because my order of 3 SVD's, 3 Protanks, and 4 batteries will take a few days to get here........and in the meantime......

Now I sit and wonder which one of us is the dumbest of the two....not sure really....

I must admit that my trust in her as a friend.....went south.....and I'm not sure but now I feel that the only way she'll ever get it back is to earn it back........and knowing her as well as I do, it might never happen.....not really sure what to do now......give it some time I guess....and let clearer minds prevail.

Take her clothes, jewelry, and other personal property and toss it in the bin. That is unbelievable! Failure to do so will be telling her that seizing your property is perfectly acceptable. I would be tempted to call the police.

Better yet, just get rid of her altogether...

I'm not going to say I haven't taken a bottle of Jack Daniels away from an ex and poured it down the sink because the time previous involved 7 cops busting down two doors, pepper spraying my entire wardrobe after that same ex barricaded himself in, and led to him being taken to a hospital to have his stomach pumped after he downed two complete bottles of pills to "dare" me that he wouldn't.

I don't consider that the same as tossing away someone's vape gear.

I was planning on calling them this morning....(the drowning was yesterday)...but I won't....they wouldn't do much I don't believe, and I would end up being the one who'd have to bail her out...so it's a no win situation for me....but if she ever does anything like that again.....I will call them and see if I can get her arrested for destruction of property....and then I'd let her sit and stew.

That is way low. If she's mad about spending money or whatever she should try to have a talk and work something out. Throwing away something that does no harm to her is bs. If it was adult content mags or even liquor if you had a drinking problem, maybe. But SHE SMOKES while you vape. ...?!! There are lots of things that make a single girl "hot". Part of it can be physical, sure. But I know lots of pretty girls that are not at all hot, because they are uptight, controlling, manipulative, rude, etc.

A hot girl knows how to laugh (at herself at times).
A hot girl enjoys simple things.

Don't do that. Just remove yourself from the situation for a while and let her think on it.

She needs to figure out why she's going to such extreme measures and violating the trust between you.

When I took her smokes, I told her, "if I can't have mine, then you can't have yours!" But then I smoked her smokes on my way to work! LOL!

BUT, when I got home last night, I left a half of the pack I'd taken on the counter where she would have to see it, thinking she'd smoke them....but they were still there when I got up......so I took them back! I'm not sure, but I think she has not smoked since I took them away from her......almost certain....and if she has decided to quit....hurray for her! I haven't spoken with her today, and not planning to for quite a while....

Seriously, you must do what you think is best for you. I get that. I simply want to stress the importance of proper boundary setting and maintenance here. If you set a boundary, defend it to the last!

I guess I am just lucky, my wife is an ex-smoker of 18 years. She cannot stand the smell of tobacco and would let me know at every chance. One of our sons started vaping cig-a-likes 2 years ago and started recommending them to me when my wifes father died of lung cancer/emphysema at 72 from a life of lucky strikes. My wife listened to the 2 years of research I did into vaping before I started it, gently encouraging me while vehemently reminding me every chance she got that Copenhagen was nasty and that cigarettes/cigars smelled horrible. I made some vape supply purchases and juice to go along with it, this cut my analog use, but I started itching for more vape gear. She told me she did not care what I spent on vape gear/supplies as long as I stopped smoking, I stopped dipping months ago.
Since that statement I spend what I would have on a pack and a half of names brands a day on vape gear and supplies and have not looked back.

Her only complaint now is that I spend a good bit of time at my desk fiddling with gear.

I have no clue on that, it is my precious video game time that I am spending fiddling with vape gear in front of my beautiful multi-monitor gaming rig. I am the one suffering here.

I digress - No one touches my toys but me or those I give permission to do so. No one should touch your toys with out your permission!

So glad you can afford to replace all your stuff so quickly and before the holiday mail crunch. I’ve been very grateful for, but I guess taken for granted, my husband’s steadfast support of my vaping.
