Really? I thought e-liquid had all the nicotine properties of a regular cigarette. How does the buzz from snus feel different? I am going to buy a pack of General Original Portion... good start?

Exhale,
Snus has the other components of tobacco that most eliquid does not. WTA liquid is catching up, but still not quite there. Snus fills the addiction completely, aside from the hand to mouth habit. You can use snus ANYWHERE and not have a soul notice. There is no fiddling with equipment, and no fears of dead batteries or cartos. A can of snus in your pocket is good for around 4 or 5 days of use. I have never heard of an PV battery that works for 4 or 5 days of heavy vaping before it quits. You don't worry about carrying enough batteries, access to electricity, the right charger, or if your battery will go thermal on you. There is no worry about a carto dying and if you brought a spare and the liquid to fill it. It doesn't leak. It's a lot like a pack of smokes without needing a lighter. You just grab it and go and it works every time.

If I remember correctly nicotine makes up about 95% of the alkaloids in tobacco. That's what's in regular liquids. Some people like us crave the other minor alkaloids and don't function well without them. General is a good Swedish snus. I like the mint the best.

Just tried my first snus. You guys were right. It is much more satisfying that the buzz I get from e-cigs. I can't really taste it though. I keep it in my upper lip, right in the middle. Am I doing something wrong? Its portion.
You don't really want to keep it right in the middle.

If you feel with your tongue you will notice a little flap of skin in the middle of the upper part of your gum. You want to place the portion (or loose as the case may be) on either side of this and kind of pushed as high as it will go. Then just leave it parked. You can kind of squeeze it a bit with your gum, or give it a swipe with your tongue to get a little burst of flavor.

It can take awhile to get a feel for the flavors of snus.

Well, the first good sign is you didn't find the saltiness distracting. That was my first observation but that went away fairly quickly. Like Hitt, my favorite and go to is the Mint. In fact that's what I have in now at this ungodly hour. Not much of a fan of the original. I don't know what you might have available locally. I normally bounce between a lot of different cans, but I've built a rather wide variety. I like to mix tobacco flavors with the Mint during the day, usually Mint as a finisher.

Morning all, portions are easier to deal with but you get more with los. I've baked a few los around the house but I've never figured out how to get it out without a mess. Plus I have a tendence to move mine around from the left to the right and back. Portions definitely work better there.

Good morning. Nothing exciting to report. My wife's car had a fuel hose leaking coming off the tank. We had to take it to the shop since the tank will have to be drained. They couldn't get the part locally so we're paying next day charges to get the part here.

    Evening All,

Sure am glad the work day is over, and Friday is almost here!

Thunder Frosted Los , this was my original favorite snus and the snus that helped me kick the cigs when I first started, now I dont use it too much but do enjoy it for a change from my normal rotation of snus.

Hitt, that's funny. All the chewers I knew had the same effect on me which was one of the reasons I was so adverse to smokeless. Boy has my attitude changed. I had a funny one earlier this week. My favorite bar manager brought up snuff to me since she knows I'm the E cig/tobacco expert in the area. She had a fellow in the previous week that took a whiff off his finger and they thought he was doing something illegal until he explained it was nasal snuff. She asked if I had heard anything about it. I laughed, pulled my can out and showed her what it looked like and took a whiff myself. Now she's educated.

I had a fuel line leak on the truck that got totalled back when the gf rolled my Hyundai. Don't know if I ever mentioned that. That was quite a trip back from Philly, not being sure I'd make it before the tank emptied. Fortunately I did and had enough gas to get it to the shop before it emptied.
