Years ago, northerner was called GetSnus. It was before PACT and shipping was $5 and free shipping on orders over $50. They had a much better selection then also. I figure I didn’t have to pay$20+ for shipping so that more than offset the tax and like I said, they were actually lower on the jakobsen.

Yep, I made quite a few orders from them when they had a better selection. Even a few after PACT because their shipping cost was so much lower than the overseas suppliers. But then they dropped the majority of their offerings and upped their prices so I haven't ordered from them since. But it was a good deal on the Jakobesen Hitt.

I ordered on the 27 and still hadn’t received tracking yet so I emailed them to see what was going on and reminded them that they suck even though I’m not really in a hurry. All of a sudden they replied this morning and said my order shipped yesterday. They use some kind of slow boat ups that won’t arrive for a week. I guess that’s how they were able to give free shipping. I’m not surprised.

    I hate when that happens...

I ordered a revolver speedloader last Friday that said the classic "in stock items ship next day" hoping to have it before the 4th shipping shutdown. Still hasn't shipped and when I inquired this morning they said it was a inventory system hiccup. I scored an upgrade from 1st class to priority shipping in the process though.

I don’t remember if I mentioned it before but I picked up the 3 cubic foot freezer I ordered this week. It’s dedicated for nic and snus. I’ve been getting a little antsy with all the FDA crap going on with vaping. I’ve got 2 liters of 100mg in the freezer and two more on order. This is the first time I’ve stored my snus in a freezer. I just put it in ziplock freezer bags and pushed out as much air as I could. It’s gotta be better than storing it in a box in the basement right?

I'd been doing exactly that and had good results. I switched to reusable vacuum seal bags when we bought our vacuum sealer.

The bulk of the order gets vac'd and froze, stuff I'm going to use soon goes in regular freezer bags. As long as one of the vac'd bags is the one I'm working on I don't bother to vac it again.

Not sure if it's worth the extra effort though as snus kept in a regular old freezer bag was still good 3 years later.

That’s good to hear. I’ve got over a years worth on hand and two rolls coming if they get the melon back in stock. They offered to give me store credit or a refund but I said I’d wait. I just wanted to make them pay for shipping twice since they sold me something not in stock.

I bought a new mp3 player from Wish with a 256GB tf card since I have over 60GB of music already and would like to add some stuff. I like to ride (illegally of course) with ear buds and the mp3s I have are old and only handle 16GB cards.

Well, after two days of frustration in trying to load the card, I contacted them and complained about what was happening. After doing so, with more investigating, I figured out what was going on. It wasn't the mp3 player causing the problem but a fake micro SD card. Instead of 256GB it's actually a 32GB card.

I was ready to battle them when I got a response to my communication. They're issuing a full credit, or at least that's what the promised, we'll see. I already ordered a Samsung 64GB card from Amazon that will fit everything I have now with a little space for additional stuff so, if I get the refund, this wasn't a bad deal for an upgrade.

A lot of negativity about Wish on line so we'll see.

Roth, it’s hard to beat an iPod or iPhone. I’ve still got an old 40gb iPod with the click wheel. I had to replace the battery once but it’s gotta be 10-15 years old and I use my daughters old iPod touch for working out. It’s maybe a year or two newer than the click wheel one.

Not that hard Hitt. A 64GB iPod is like $200. I can get an mp3 player that can be loaded to 256GB. Now I can't imagine needing that much but for $40 I can get a 64GB mp3 player that can hold more if needed. I have a couple I've had for at least 10 years that are still running but they're both maxed out at 34GB. I'm loading up a 64GB card right now with about 45GBs of music all either stuff I converted from CDs or off the internet for free. As I understand it, on an iPod you either get the music from iTunes or have to go to their site and set the iPod as an external hard drive.

I have redundancy with the music stored on my local network drive, on my PC and on both a USB thumb drive which I use in both my SUV and Can AM and a micro SD for my MP3 player that I use illegally when I ride my motorcycles. I like my music.

You can load any music from a cd you want into iTunes. I have all my cds loaded into iTunes. They also make a flash drive for the iPod/ iPhone. I bought them for both my kids. I just got one for my youngest about a month ago from amazon for around 30-35. It’s a 64gb drive. You can also load videos and movies on it if you want. I find iTunes easier to use than the programs we had to use on the old MP3 players they had. However that was several years ago so they are probably better now.

Well it finally happened. My 5 year old Cloupor DNA30 has been retired. I had lost one of the screws to the battery door about a year ago and have just been surviving on the one screw. This thing has seen some miles and has been a rock. While I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago the other screw fell out and was lost. So I resorted to using a rubber band to keep the door on but that was a pain as the band would slip every time I put it in my pocket. I decided to see what I could find as a replacement and found a site that still had some old Cloupors in stock on clearance. You guessed it, replaced my old one with the same exact model, even the same color. Why mess with success? $25 shipped to my door. ;):D

That sounds like my innokin Oceanus. One of my magnets came out and I stupidly put it back in the wrong way, I can't get it out, so I am using a vape band to hold the door on. So far, that is working pretty well for me. I think the Oceanus has been discontinued. I just really like the hand feel of it and the fact it takes a 20700 battery. If anyone comes across a good deal on an Oceanus, let me know.

My rock was the sigelei fuchai mini. I carried it in my side pocket of my carpenter jeans at work every day for years. When I bought it on clearance, I liked it so much that I ordered a second and put it in storage. A few months ago the button quit working and I took it apart but couldn't fix it so got the back up. Being without one in the future didn't sound like a lot of fun so I found one on aliexpress and bought it for back up.

Rebel, it's great when you find something that really works for you. The Smok Nord has become my one and only will take a lot to get me to change. Cigarette lighter size that is easy to carry around. Just turn it off and stuff in my jeans.
