Oh man Hitt, I hope your daughter comes to her senses. That really doesn't sound like a good relationship, particularly if they've just recently gotten together. It sounds like he should be getting into a relationship with a therapist.

Heading up to NY on either Wednesday or Thursday for the funeral. They sure live as far up into the State as possible. Much further north and I'd need a passport. They're within a half hour of the border if the St Lawrence River wasn't in the way.

Joe had only turned 64 last month. I'm sure glad he at least got a couple years of retirement.

The boyfriend is seeing a doctor and is now on a couple of meds. I’m thinking that the relationship will fizzle out by the time her contract ends in July. I hope so anyway. She’s still working at Panera on top of working for MSU so she doesn’t have a lot of free time so that makes me feel a little better.

Have a safe trip. 64 is just too young. That’s when you’re supposed to take the time to do the things you put off while working and enjoy yourself.

Damn, this thread is still kind of kicking the can down the road.... pretty much like me.

Thought you folks might be interested in this one. The long time snus users on this thread might remember the glory days of pre-PACT act. Ahh..... those where the days.

Guess what folks..... its back to claim another victim. This time the vaping world is about to find out what we here have known for a long time. The PACT act really sucks.

Yup, that will pretty much screw up the e cig world particularly with the signature verify requirement.. It's even worse for e cigs than snus also. In the snus world, you can save up and place a large order to reduce the shipping cost impact but who's going to do the same in the e cig world?

That really sucks! I place small orders for stuff all the time. I can see the amount of orders tapering off and hurting sellers. Good luck getting the China vendors to follow suit. I’ve been contemplating a large unflavored nicotine order. Now might be the time.

Glad I am not ordering e-cig stuff any more, most of my orders were under $50, so the high shipping with signature delivery would kill me.

Just placed an order with snus.us yesterday, they have General mint for $20.80 a roll, tired of waiting for a 10+5 deal, starting to run low. With the other stuff I ordered I got shipping down to .57 cents a can, so it is a good price and will last me for a long while. :) Pushed the quantity to just before the shipping went to the next level to get the most bang for my buck.

With the pile of thunder raspberry I got from stols, I should be set for a while. I haven’t taken inventory on my mint lately but am sure I’m good. I’m sure my wife is not going to be happy when I ask her about storing nic in the freezer. I’ve been thinking about getting a small one for in the basement.

This gal needs everyone's votes. You can vote every day through the next 4 rounds. She won her group the first time through. She was one of the bartenders where I run poker for a couple years before she finally started looking for a real job. She's now some type manager for a construction business and moved a bit farther away. She's incredibly nice and down to earth for as beautiful as she is and she's a walking billboard for tattooing.

I did a mock order on 4 rolls of General and came up with $4.97 a can. Not much savings on that even though it's on sale. They charge $1.01 per can tobacco tax on the General so there is really no sale. Probably a better deal on the Jakobens cause it's a cheaper snus but they still charge $.53 per can on that. I'm a silver member but don't get a discount unless I order 150 cans but even then I could only get it down to $4.96 a can.

I thought about ordering some general too until I saw the price with the tax added. I checked a couple other sites on the Jakobsen and northerner was actually cheaper. I got a couple rolls just to break up the monotony of my general and thunder routine.

What is this extra tax you are talking about? Didn't have anything extra tacked on to my last order from snus.us

    Snus.us
General White Mint (8mg per portion) ($2.08) x60 = $124.79 (Total Cost $2.65 per can)
Olde Ving 99 Coffee (8.1mg per portion) ($2.35) x20=$46.99 (Total Cost $2.92 per can)
Jakobsson's Melon Strong Slim White Dry (9.1mg per portion) ($3.31) x13 = $42.99 (Total Cost $3.88 per can)

    Items $214.77
    Shipping & handling $53.33 (93 cans @ $.57344 per can)
    Total $268.10

Northerner charges tobacco tax. I don’t know if the Swedish companies are adding it in or not but they are supposed to be paying it as far as I know. Maybe they have a special deal worked out.
I have never ordered from Northerner, but have made 11 orders with Snus Central, Snus24, Snus.us, and Buysnus, and have never had a Tobacco Tax added to my orders. Could be Northerner has a US presence and has to add the tax to US orders. Just a thought, don't order from them. :)
