I did go home and if I am sick tomorrow I will not go in.

My most mortifying work experience ever was coming to work with the flu my FIRST DAY. There was a policy of "don't call off sick" but I should not have been there. However, my supervisor was also on vacation so I could not even discuss it with her.

EVERYONE tried to get me to go home, trust me I understood why they did not want me to be there, it sucked.

I have always felt sick days existed for a reason. Although to be fair it is a pedes clinic. A fair share of providers will work with a mask if they are sick, and if I had some respiratory thing I might.

I mean you are either going to catch something, or not. I got PINKEYE which I have never HAD as an adult. I did not go to work and I DID go to the doctor because that totally HURT I needed eye abx BAD.

I got metal fragments in my eye once at work. I didn’t realize it until I went to bed and couldn’t sleep. I went to my doctor and then a specialist the next morning and he pulled them out with a tiny set of tweezers. Good thing he numbed it first.

They don’t carry that jakobsson at northerner or I would have gotten some. They really don’t carry much of anything any more.
I have looked at northerner a couple of times (did some mock orders), but the extra tax they add on makes it cheaper to order elsewhere and pay the high shipping.

I watched a review on the Xtreme red and Chad from snubie liked it. I'll have to give it a go to see. I'm going to have to find something to replace the thunder when I run out. Of course the X is quite a bit more expensive than the thunder was.

Thunder is such a great brand, I like their ice mint X whatever extreme a bunch. I use it for yoga and there are times I really had to keep an eye out for nic poisoning (it has the dubious honor of making me puke, for the first and last time) LOL. I got their slim portions this time, and it's a bit better.

They are also reasonably priced. IDK why they would discontinue the raspberry that stuff is the BEST. Who knows why these things happen but I like their stuff a lot more than more expensive offerinigs (usually.)

I watch Chad's reviews sometimes, but I take them with a grain of salt, he likes almost every Snus he reviews, and there is a lot he likes, I have tried, and don't like.

I can't imagine reviewing snus. To me, it's like reviewing flavors. Like, "Here are my thoughts on what MY taste buds experience when I use it..... Good luck with YOUR taste buds." I don't even know why there are ANY reviewers other than I guess if you like some reviewer of juice/snus you might be placeboically inclined to think it is good even though in the back of your brain you are like, "Ick."

I'm not in the bathroom because I figured out I was decreasing my klonopin pretty fast and probably having withdrawal symptoms. My doc wants me to go up by at least 10 more mg so I took 5 last night, went to bed early and when I woke up walked head first into a door jamb. It kind of hurt a fair amount.

So... yes and no... I freaking HATE valium it's so sedating I JUST want to finish tapering it and then reaching homeostatic where I have one benzo, no fine motor tremor and I am STILL getting dragon, I found out.

However, I did not go to work a) my head hurt a fair amount and b) I was able to you know, take pity on myself and go, "You know, all these drug changes are TAXING you deserve a day to like zonk."

So, yes and no. I also miss my humans and well, I don't like taking off work. I think it makes me look like a slacker. But I don't think things would have gone that great if I went in.

    Tomorrow. Etc.

Taking one day doesn’t make you a slacker. We had a lady at my work that called in about every other Monday. I think she was going on a bender on the weekend and was too hung over to make it in. She ended up having heart problems and hasn’t missed a Monday since she stopped drinking.

Many, many years ago I got into a discussion with two Accounts Payable women as they started talking about sick days. I think I was working on one of their PCs at the time. Our company had a very generous sick day program, allowing up to three weeks a year in paid sick days. When one of them said she always uses all her sick days because, "they wouldn't give them to us if they didn't want us to use them". The other gal and I just looked at each other in disbelief.

I actually ended up hiring the other gal to work in my department sometime afterward. In talking to her, I suppose you'd call it an interview, I asked if she planned on taking all her sick days because the company wouldn't have given them to her if they didn't want her to use them. We both had a good laugh. I can't recall if she ever took one either and she did very well after my department was disbanded and still is as she now is approaching retirement age.

It just hit me as I wrote that, other than a few mistakes, I hired some really good people in my working career. It always made life that much easier.

I have had it and like it. It’s pretty good but different. It’s got way more fruit flavor than the thunder.
Jakobsson's Raspberry & Strawberry (Hallon & Jordgubb) is good, glad I got 2 rolls (wish I had gotten more). I had a couple last night, lots more berry flavor, but I think it is more dominate on the strawberry myself. Did one pouch, then a Thunder Raspberry, then another, to see the difference. Totally different on the berry flavor. I most likely won't be ordering anything until next summer, but this is one I'll add to my next order.

Have not tried the Thunder Red or N&J Hot yet, might try them today.

Hitt, it's been exactly like that here and most of the country. I'm going to hit the first week this summer that I've actually had the air conditioning on. I had two days before this that I used it, but there's no way I was sitting thru this wave without it.

I cut up some of the logs they left last Monday. It was hot, mid to high 80s, and I sweated plenty but at least you could breath. They saw 95 today going up to a 109 feels like. Definitely too hot.

Burnie, I’m glad you like it. I never bought a lot at one time but would try to get at least a few cans to add something different in my rotation.

The heat finally broke today. I woke up to rain and it’s supposed to be at least 10 degrees cooler today than it’s been in weeks.
