I'm not sure what stores or convenience stores you have there but you should try some General snus. The mint has been a long time favorite of mine. They have the mint, original, and wintergreen in many stores around here. Most of us buy snus in bulk from Sweden and keep it in a freezer until we need it. I usually have anywhere from 50-100 cans on hand at any one time of different brands.

Bergamot sounds, well first, i never heard of it, but it sounds tasty, but then again I cant fathom how it will taste in my NOSE!

It's not for your nose. It's snus which is pouches of tobacco for the mouth.

Hitt, I still have some around here also. It was so important at one point where I'd get that urge to light up. A sniff of that stuff sent that urge bye bye. There was one I really liked but darn if I can remember what it was. I actually went thru most of the tin I had and the little I had left was lost when the container I was carrying it in opened up in my pocket. I seem to remember it was a raspberry thing but not sure.

Been busy around here, first time I've checked in here for a few weeks. Finally got onto the second deck and replaced to boards that needed attention before I fell to my death. lol I don't have to walk on the joists anymore. Bent some PVC pipe to put loops over my pond to protect it from the leaves this fall.

I increased by fish population from the 14 I had this Spring to 80 or so. Most of them are an inch or so long as some fellow had a bunch he was getting rid of. I figure that population will get decreased over the winter but I didn't want to lose them all so I found someone on FB that was selling a new 38 gallon aquarium that I set up and am in the process of catching 20 to 30 that I'll house during the winter.

I also found a fellow on Craiglist in NJ that was selling comet/koi hybrids. Thought about getting some koi but talked myself out of it as I'm not sure I want to deal with the care required and my pond really isn't deep enough to properly house them during the winter. As it was, it cost me $320 for the six fish I bought. Now it's a concern to keep the blue herring from having lunch on me.

I still haven't got started on splitting wood for the winter. I have plenty here, just need to get started.

I'm pretty sure that was the Ozona Raspberry. I remember you talking about it.

Have you thought about a bubbler or a pond de-icer for your pond Roth? That would help to keep it from fully freezing over in the winter. This cat has some various solutions to keeping your fish healthy and happy over the cold months.

I keep the main filtration system running all winter although, on reading up on it, I think I'll move the unit from its summer location to the shallower end of the pond during the winter. It keeps a hole in the iceat all times, In addition, I'm also adding this for additional deicing and oxygen during the winter.

Well, we supposedly were getting our electric back by 3PM. No electric and all you get checking on status is, "We're assessing the issue". I've got a feeling this might be a long one. A lot of the repair guys are down in LA and MS working on that mess. I'm starting to wish I had a permanent generator installed with LP gas. I wouldn't be looking for water so I could flush toilets and, during the winter, would have heat other than from the fireplace.

    Happy Birthday Scott!!!!!!

I finally got my electric back last night. Great having water again.

Thanks. Went out and did some minor shopping with the wife for my birthday and had dinner and a Sam Adams Octoberfest beer.

I had an out of routine experience last week. Ida had me out of electric for about two and a half days coming back sometime after dark Friday. I quickly unplugged everything from the generator and started plugging everything back in. I forget if it was Tues or Wed, I was working in the garage and I had bought a new water valve for the bottom of the tank since it leaked air and that's where i thought I was losing it.

It helped but I heard it go off at 2 AM. I went out to unplug it rather than letting it fill up and leak again. I was trying to determine which cord was the power and I saw the cord to the freezer sitting on my workbench. The meat was all floating in ice, unfrozen. Disgusted, I started emptying it into the garbage tub and pulling out all my snus. Most had been sitting on a ledge but a couple boxes were floating in the ice water.

The next morning it hit me that I didn't need to throw it all out, except for the seafood stuff and retrieved it out of the tub and started cooking it up. I didn't realize how much meat I actually had in there. After cooking it I was cutting it up in little chunks for my dogs. I filled the biggest container I had that would fit in the refrigerator and started using gallon freezer bags. I ended up giving a bag to three of my neighbors that had dogs and forgot there was one other dog and still filled two more gallon bags.

I tried the SPCA to see if they wanted it and, of course, they didn't. I finally settled on posting it for free on FB. Of course some Karen had to post a negative comment but it took less than two hours that i had a gal who wanted both bags since she had two big dogs. So the meat wasn't a total waste and my dogs have been loving the presents.

Two good things came out of my stupidity other than making dogs happy. I know exactly how much snus I have in reserve and it gave me the opportunity to repair the rusting top of the freezer, along with a much needed defrosting. Anyone that has a rusting appliance, check out Rust-Oleum's Appliance paint. Amazing stuff. I chipped away all the loose paint, sanded the top, applied a rust inhibitor, then spray painted the top. It looked so good I thought about getting more and doing the whole thing but I didn't.

Now I have an exclusive snus and nicotine freezer and I don't plan on cluttering it with a lot of meat again since most of my meals have been Tovala lately.

I’ve been having this intermittent problem with my Jeep where when it’s hot out I’ll get this noise like something is rubbing and a couple times thought I smelled a burnt smell. I took it to the shop and they didn’t find anything the first time. Second time they said I’ve got a restriction in s front brake line and they took a temperature reading and the front passenger brake was 500 degrees after a test drive. They couldn’t get the lines from the dealer until this coming week but they let me pick it up and said I could drive it back and forth to work.
