It is tiresome seeing Big tobacco being heralded as the source behind vaping products. Some concise explanation of their true origins and the role BT truly plays needs to be explained somehow. BT sure learnt a lot about how to play this game-bootlegger and baptist.

Yeah, at the time I didn't realize that it was a free paper, and I didn't want to subscribe to it online, just wanted that one copy. But since it's free, I'll look at it online. I'm that way too. Would rather not have all the mess.

WOO-HOO!!! GREAT NEWS! Just received a call from the editor and the article WILL get published!

He told me that they had "quite a few calls" about the ad and it's placement but no one else had taken the time to write a rebuttal. The article will be placed in the political commentary section which (IMO) is another win! They will not run the actual ad again, even though it was down sized, but will make a reference notation. Something to the effect, "See Front Page Ad", because the non profits WILL be running the same ad AGAIN and in the same location, right under Fatboy Vapors ad! I mentioned to him that I found it distasteful for them to place the non profit ad under a long standing Vapor product ad and was informed that the non profit INSISTED on that spot and paid extra to insure it ended up where it did. I told him I understand, advertising dollars are your business, that's how you get paid.

Once again, I would like to thank EVERYONE. We ALL did this TOGETHER. We ALL need to KEEP DOING THIS TOGETHER! EXPOSE EVERY LIE! TRUTH WILL PREVAIL!

I'll have to check into it. I had to laugh when the editor said, "I really can't post the ad a second time, that's how I put food on the table and I don't particularly want to give them a freebie." I told him I didn't particularly care for the idea of giving them any extra mileage either. Thank you Mike. I appreciate the kind words. It was a colabrative effort, for sure. There's a little bit of all of us in there and that's what I was trying to get across. Vaping isn't just the hipster you see blowin' clouds. It's millions of reforming/reformed smokers that have taken charge of their own lives.

We just need to expose EVERY lie, every time we see one. This approach can and will work if we don't "just roll our eyes".

I think we have a few graphic artists, or media savvy types who could contribute some ideas or skills instead of funds to the cause. Getting info from the vaping masses about other instances of ads in local papers would be good. The ads could refer people to the CAASA & other advocate sites as well as the movie.

@Von Vape ape and others, Von made a great poster about A Billion Lives to distribute to B&Ms and anywhere you can. I took the liberty to add some more information. I am going to a local B&M with a friend this afternoon and will bring several copies.

I'll work on that Kenna. I'm a little late to the game today due to waiting nearly 18 hrs. for the W 10 upgrade (nothing like waiting until the last minute, right). I have GIMP and I'll try working on something in there instead of the tacky old W "Paint" program (how I did the flyer ).

I DO encourage everyone to continue to use this thread to REPORT EVERY LIE so that VAPERS can UNITE and together we can EXPOSE THE LIES!

Here is the bag insert, in pdf form if folks want to contact their B&Ms and online vendors and ask them to print it off (front and back) either on paper and cut it up, or get their printers to do it as business cards. First page is the front, 2nd page is what goes on the back. It will cost them a bit to do this, but I'll be stressing that it could help in saving their businesses. I'll be asking as many as I can to please put this in customer's bags and pkgs they mail for the online vendors.

Clnire also redid a flyer they can hang up for B&Ms that she based on one Von had done. I asked her for one small revision, so when she does that, She can post it to give to the B&Ms also, or you can use the original
