My biggest beef is the elitism some vapers have as far as I'm concerned someone with an ego with a ce5 is just the same as me we just have different kit to get to the same place. Other beef is the watt race were currently seeing amongst the Chinese company's and it's only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured I took a very cheap Chinese ego rip off from a friend a few months ago gave him one of my spare good quality ones. Today through a friend who does reviews I got to try the new Atlantis tank I found it ok even nice but nowhere near as good as my Lemo but then I got curious and wondered what I have apart from my box mod that would fire it answer was nothing till it came to that crappy ego and it tried to fire it I chickened out after about a second but very worrying.

I tried the Aspire website and got as far as Check-out ... then the payment wouldn't even go through. Tried emailing Aspire and the email address wasn't a "good" one. THEN I found out the company is in China. Huh-uh ... no way I'm going to wait 3 wks on a slow boat from China.

Evape.us. They have them.

Biggest beef has to be cheaply made clones that do not have the proper safety features and break easily.
That said I partialy blame the consumer that goes into a vape shop, ask the clerk what they recromend And balk at the price.
As a result the shop stocks a " economical " starter kit so that they can at least get the sale.
The funny part of that is the customer has only saved about 20.00 bucks by buying the inferior kit and are usually back in the shop a week later looking for something that works better. LOL

Ignorance from non-vapers is pretty much my only beef... Every other problem I have is either due to my own lack of funds (b&ms), lack of patience (ordering online), or lack of guidance (because I don't like having to buy new coils as often as I do but I don't want to teach myself how build them by YouTube videos or asking my b&m to teach me).

Online sites not letting negative reviews go up bugs the .... out of me. I understand checking these things before they go on your site, but only posting positive feedback is dishonest. And I agree with rizzy up there. A guy using an evod on a 650mah battery is just as much a vaper and deserves the same treatment as the guy who's modified his cars muffler to fog up the whole neighborhood with vapor. The guy who got me started in vaping is still using just what I described up there. Though I'm thinking of getting him an emow mega and a box of dual coils for christmas to thank him for basically saving me from cigarettes lol

Oh and the government dicking around and trying to convince people it's bad for you. Just shut the .... up and tax me already like you do with alcohol and tobacco products. Wait for the studies to come in and let people decide on their own like they do with the aforementioned products. Don't seize my .... at the border because Health Canada sent out a vague warning that they may be dangerous and there's exactly zero laws in place to prohibit the import of the equipment and juice in amounts that can only be for personal use.

I don't get it either. Usually the Canadian government jumps at the chance to make tons of money off something then lie about having money when we want them to fix things in the country lol.

^^This post is so full of win. And I agree 100% with the thing about not allowing negative reviews. Other than, my main pet peeve is exaggerated claims, such as: "One cartridge=one pack (or more) of cigarettes!" Heh....as IF....

What irks me is when I hear of a new middle aged vapor going to a B & M and they sell them the cloud chasers dream set up when they should of sold them the basic tank set up. Now they have a mechanical mod with an RDA that they are clueless about coils and wicks and are going to go thru a ton of juice which is exactly what the B & M wants. It makes for a good chance the new vapor wont stay with it and go back to smoking when a simple inexpensive battery and tank set up would of not only worked but been simple and gave them the opportunity to learn on their own about the other forms of vaping and decide themselves what they wanted to do.

I think it's great that this is something to complain about. When I got started, b&m stores didn't exist and you just had to take your chances ordering new stuff and figuring it out. Now, people in most populated areas have many choices.

That said, the mystery of online purchases won't be going away, so I won't bother with commenting on that. Just add me as a +1 for vape shops to work on offering a reliable beginner kit, along with a judgement-free store newbies can feel comfortable visiting and asking dumb questions in. Offer a range of products and present them using employees that are patient, knowledgeable, and behave/appear halfway like they give a crap.

I'm not really looking for a new place to "hang out" (vape lounge) or any new hipster friends to visit with there. I'm also not looking to accessorize my next dragoncon costume, or out-do a nightclub fog machine. Just offer a selection of quality products that work, provide good service, and I'll keep coming back at any price.

I can attest to the dishonesty of not putting up negative reviews. I tried Virgin Vapor's disgusting best damn tobacco then tried to post a review of it on their website. They made sure it didn't go up.

My only pet peeve is that not enough companies provide sample packs. I'd much prefer to buy five different flavors at 3ml than one flavor at 15 ml when I'm looking for new liquids.

It also feels sometimes that no one at the company ever tries their product before selling it.
My old Volkswagen felt that way, too!

So as with the VW it's your EXPECTATIONS not the car that was the issue. As one that has had several of the Nazi's Revenge cars. They all did exactly as they were designed to do.. Exact Hitlers revenge on the world. Funny how were are still chasing 50mpg. VWs were doing that in the 50s and 60s.

I for one do NOT expect a $20 clone Mech Mod to function or look as good as the original unit. But a good clone will definately tell you if you want the original.

That's a half truth. Modern cars don't account for being pushed half the time ;)

1. Hipster boutique type vape shops. I've come to realize that if the place looks like the inside of an IKEA, all their juices are going to taste the same, the people working there are going to be stuck up elitist types and their product is going to be overpriced.

2. I hate it when shops try to sell me things I really don't have any desire to buy. Stuff I'm not even looking for. I know there's probably better setups than my MVP2 and my Mini-Protank 2, but it works for me. Protanks require almost no maintenance and I can go 3 days on a full charge on my MVP2. If I want to buy a tank...I'll ask about them..if I want coils/wicks I'll ask for them...if I want to get a new battery or whatever...I'll ask for it.

3. Being given the "welcome to vaping" speech over and over and over again...EVERYONE KNOWS..EVEN PEOPLE WHO DON'T VAPE!

4. Shops that don't let you sample their juice. I went to a local shop here and asked about sampling and he was dead set against it. I bought three bottles of Juice...all of them more disgusting than the last.

Not surprisingly, I have a couple of beefs namely with brick and mortar stores.

One are attempts to sell house made juices by talking badly about and creating distrust for online suppliers....by saying things like they probably make that in their kitchens or an unsafe environment and you have no way of knowing whats inside it.

Obviously we all do, theyre called taste buds.

The second is the employees of some brick and mortar stores trying to act like theyre the gods of vaping and looking down on my Provari and carto tank setups as inferior to their commercial fog machine strapped to a furniture dolly and wired to three car batteries in series.....when the simple fact is many of us here have forgotten more about vaping than they will ever learn.

~ end rant

I agree. There are two types in the stores. The one who just sits behind a counter that knows nothing about vaping or the ones that are blowing clouds and smirking when I come in With my mvp2 and a aero tank. What happened to good customer service?
