Once I was vaping in a restaurant... Mind you it was a vape friendly establishment and I had the owner's blessing... and this woman a few booths away was giving me dirty looks and like, fake coughing. Like hint hint, you're disturbing my air. So I just ignored her...

But of course she asks for the manager and I can overhear her complaining about "non smoking restaurant" and whatnot, and he's trying to break it down for her. Better him than me... I don't think she would've liked what I had to say lol.

But the fake coughing though... like SERIOUSLY?

So I thought that was pretty funny.

I think there needs to be some kind of education campaign to dispel this impression that vaporizers are or could be used as drug paraphernalia. They could not be used as an effective way to deliver any of the typical street drugs. One would have to dilute them, no addict wants their drug to be diluted, it would be much better for them to simply eat whatever it is.

I recently vaped in public a lot while on vacation. I think most people who smoke who see people using e-nic are somewhat envious because they see a smoker who quit, while they haven't been able to yet. I don't know anyone who smokes who doesn't want to quit.

Take it from me,i know they are jealous, when i used too go to the bar they were complaining that they had too go outside and i didnt, and a lot of smokers dont have the ''skills'' to get into vaping, brainless idiots.

Here's my story...

My husband and I were at a music performance and went outside to vape at intermission. We were leaning against a wall outside the venue, and a highly pierced, tattooed, and "multi-haired" (shaved, braided, multi-colored, etc) young woman came out and stood by us. This was in Berkeley, so it's not that unusual, but she was a little over the top. "I'm going to stand by you," she announced. "So people will think I'm using an e-cigarette, too. I'm not, though! Mine's different stuff!" and she blew a big cloud. Yep, it was different stuff. She told us a long story about how she was from Colorado, where it's legal, and how she'd been following the band we were seeing for 6 months, but she kept missing the shows (?!?) and if she stood by us, she could blend in. Anyway, a group of people walked by us, and a woman looked at us, then paused. "Are those those e-cigarette things I've been hearing about?" she asked. "Yes, they are," my husband and I answered. "Not mine! Mine's h@sh!!" our new "friend" shouted. Um, yeah. Way to "blend in".

People like that are just not doing us vapers any favors in the public acceptance arena.

That would creep me out.
