Funny Story:

Last night I went out to vape after a meeting, and everyone was lighting up analogues.
One guy asked me "is that the electric cigarette?"
I said "yes."
He said "do those things work?"
I said "yes, I've been vaping for almost three years."
Then, as he coughed loudly and lit up a cigarette, he said "Isn't it about time you quit that thing?"

True story.

My mom who in this last year and a half of my vaping has always been my biggest supporter of being off analogs said that to me recently (holy run on sentence lol). I was disappointed I did inform I had no plans to quit that thing though

Wow!!! I find this even funnier because my mom was the biggest nag about my smoking habit. I could tell her "wow, what a pretty day outside" and she would reply "it would be even prettier if you quit smoking".... So when I quit, she was all jazzed about it. I had been vaping 7 days......7 whole freaking days......when she asked me "how much longer before you don't use that electric thingy?" UUGH!

Awesome story, funny as heck. I try to ignore smokers, because like 98% of us vapers, we're all ex-smokers. But you have your vapers as well who say some silly things to smokers (like you weren't one)

I have only had ex's try to force me to quit smoking, oh and churches. I always said I'll quit when I'm ready and I did.

My brother who doesn't smoke, is amazed by vaping. He says about PV's - "Wow they're so futuristic." No matter how many times I tell him they're not real smoke, completely harmless, he always is amazed when I tell him they don't set off smoke alarms.

It can easily happen you quit vaping, then in a few years have a weak moment and end up without a usable PV or juice, and start off on analogs again. I say I'll rather vape consistently and besides I'm having too much fun vaping to quit it.

Lastly I can't wait to see what the future holds in terms of PV's and Juice. I also yearn for the day that vaping becomes mainstream, and I'll definitely want to be around for this. I'm also doing my part now, making sure I vape in public and just generally sharing my success story. If I quit vaping, it could prevent someone else from quiting smoking.

I also yearn for the day that vaping becomes mainstream, and I'll definitely want to be around for this. I'm also doing my part now, making sure I vape in public and just generally sharing my success story.

I enjoy vaping in public with the eGo because I can always call on it to create billowing clouds of vapor and the public doesn't confuse it with an analog. Matter of fact, I always carry a few extra new blank cartridges with me so when a smoker asks me if it really does taste like smoke...I pop in a new cartridge and let them give the PV a test drive. Really enjoy watching their expressions and hearing them say WOW it really does taste like smoke. Converted a lot of smokers using this technique.

By the way...When I am going to quit vaping? NEVER

That's because they don't 'get it'.... you're not using it as a smoking cessation device, you're using it as an alternative.
