I got the clone of the Poldiac clone they offer, PH22, which does have a slightly finicky button but I love its design:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1589900
If you go to that link there is a drop down menu that will get you to all the Poldiac clones mentioned in this thread. I also own a few of their Nemesis clones and colored aluminum tubes. All decent quality.

The m16 mechanical looks kinda cool... It's less than 12 bucks... Off thread topic... Omg... 101vape has tree of life mod-clone. Love it!!!

The M16 clone is very nice.
Aluminum is very soft and the threads will eventually show wear, but it hits like a freight train.
Well worth the ticket price of $12

It is a nice clone. Another option is to get the HCigar version from 101vape that is stainless steel instead of aluminum. It's a lot more solid and will last, but the trade-off is it costs twice as much. Still a great mech for only $25.

Wow, the real picture of this makes me like it even more. It is very nice!!! I will have to get that topper too- I have the all stainless version but the gold looks snazzy!!! I was coming to say I think I am going for the atomo clone

Thanks.
I will add that I did polish the M16 ( that's why my hand is dirty) to get it all shiny like that.
But it only took 15 minutes or so. Aluminum is very easy to polish.

The atomizer is the gold plated Trident V1.
The faceted top cap and atty base match the faceted top cap on the M16.
They look like they belong together.
:)

The floating pin is like the one on the k100.
It's made very well.
It's a telescopic mod so floating pins are the way to go.

Mine isn't technically from Fast tech, but it is from Hot technologies.
Hot Technologies does sell to Fasttech, so you could end up with one like this, but FT sources from lots of manufacturers.
That's why they have such low prices.

this may not apply to the thread (don't know if slo-tek carries this)... but the E-PRO Electric Angel clone is by far the best clone i have ever used (i have five other clones). threading is USA quality and the voltage drop is minimal.looks great with just about any topper with the telescopic design. i did a brushed stainless finish on mine and can say i never had an issue with it......BINGO! JMO

Found this and it IS stainless. There are 4 variations. Two with color rings. Choice of red or green. Personally wish it was brass-that would look better, imo of course. It is a nice mod, for less than $20 as well... :) (searched vapor joes to find it first)

so far i had the m16...hit very nice especially for the price but the top stripped out really quickly and never really allowed me to top it flush, the tanks were always a bit off, the metal is also really soft...felt like you could crush it in your hands if there was no battery in it for the price i may reorder as an absolute backup or once i saw they sell the top piece replacements

I also have an apv atom clone and love it, it may not hit as hard as the m16 but it's built a lot better and has worked with everything i've thrown at it

waiting on a jm22 clone as i type this, got the one with all three tubes which since i ordered have found it isn't the one to get but we'll see

Young- Why do you say the one with all 3 tubes isn't the one to get?

You also say (and I've heard others say) one mod 'hit' harder than another. This is something that baffles me. Considering they are all just battery tubes my uneducated brain says 'why or how does one mech out perform another?' What is it that makes one better hitting than another? Maybe I can mske a more educated purchase if I understand this stuff better? Can someone point me to a thread that explains good qualities to look for in a mech mod?

I am learning a lot on this thread and it has kept me from jumping into the first shiny mod because of looks! I appreciate the help so much!
