Is there a particular thread I should be reading and stalking to keep abreast of the progress or no?

Not yet I will let you know when we get closer. Like I said its a few months out at least. He has the parts on order and still needs to build a Wood box to start with and do some testing. I will keep you posted.

Hey that pretty much sums it up for me I think I will try the RSM VV box. I think its the easiest and will have the best overall taste/flavor. All this can get alittle overwhelming and to get some advice is great. I am going on a cruise with the wife in a month and I want to take something that I just dont have to mess with alot just take it and go. The only downfall I see with the RSM VV mod is you have to use the little screwdriver to change the VV. I also like the wood box mods look I am gonna get a REO Woodvil one day I almost bought a mini in the classifieds the other day but I want a wood mod thats the only reason I didnt. Hey if all else fails I can put the Provari on the ole Christmas list.LOL Than I will have the best of both worlds. I will defiantly be on the REO VV whenever that comes around.

The thing I found with VV mods juice mods or tube mod is that once you get it set to you atty you do not play with it any more. So the little adjustment pin is no big deal. Pack little screwdriver with you or buy a cheep eye glass kit and put it in the car there about a buck. Through a spare atty and some battery's and juice in and your off to the races LOL :)

I have a mini 4 in one screwdriver I picked up at the hardware store for home and it cost about 4 bucks I also have one in the rig they are always handy to have around.

Yeah once you get through the I've got a VV stage you'll find that you don't play with it that often. Unless you change the atty or juice sometimes you'll find your sweet spot and it'll stay there. The RSM VV comes with a small screwdriver tucked and held nicely in place with a magnet, no need to buy anything, he's set, well batteries and a charger. :)

I guess I really dont know what to expect from a bottom feeder.I just really like the look of them the wood is just a nice look. I have all the tanks and everything like that.I just want something with a great hit/flavor and thats convenient. I have read all over and really cant find how a bottom feeder really operates. I know you squeeze the bottle and u vap and that just sounds REALLY easy.I would want to use a atty on mine sounds like its the best way to go I see some people use cartos.I guess my question is how is the overall taste from the bottom feeder compared to the Provari? I appreciate the help to.

I think bottom feeders are a different animal to some extent- I have a couple of provari's and a couple of phidius's - The Provari is versitile and reliable- but the phidias with a fresh set of batteries, the right atty and a power feed (feeding while you draw) IMO, is unbeatable - much as I loved the EQ's feed, I still think bottom feed is a bit better from a taste perspective- . There are issues with bottom feeds - primarily they can leak and be a bit messy, and some require a bit of touch to get used to. They require you learn how to feed just the right amount of juice do the bottom of the atty without flooding it- takes a bit of practice till you get the feel for it.

That said, I agree with FOA- if you have to choose one- go with the Provari.

I want a bottom feed hastle free device that can hold 8ml, will last a full day without needing to replace/recharge the battery, VV, adjustable in .1V increments, capable of driving 12W and the size of a pen.

hey guys (n gals?)... nice thread... back in the hunt...

I haven't discussed the GG with most of you before, but imeo is coming out with a VV module... he already has tank/feeder systems UFS/iatty ...
I have an iatty on my Provari and it puts out vapor like an Iken cannon on steroids... problem is airy draw; i never liked the 801 cannon draw... but the volumes of vapor... bodes well for the Genesis type mods imo.

I'm thinking the Provari is ideal for tank types since they seem to do well with a consistent voltage and with the Vari, you have to click for minor adjustments...kind of a hassle.
i mean lately with dripping on my dse 901's i start out with a higher voltage and go down as the juice gets less... to get all the juice out of the atty before redripping, and keeping the flavor right. (if i stay high it gets harsh, and redripping too soon leads to flooding)
The Buzz Pro fwiw has the super easy dial adjust for its regulated (buck) dial and is great for that purpose.

I'm on the list for beta the VVPV top feeding box... it's small, has the dial, same internals as the Buzz Pro and Infinity Pro... i'm up next so i should have it very soon.

btw Basil did a vid on the Grip feeder vv wood box...

I've got 4 scubagens (one is going to Ukeman) comming and 3 genisis LV's also on thier way. Last check there were a few LVs still available if you look up the Genisis LV - (spelled with an I not an "e") ....I also got one of their VV box mods for kicks- they were cheap enough. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...573-genisis-lv-box-kronos-22.html#post3887064

So you guys know, there's a prefab'd PCB comming from russia of all places - self contained power regulator with a display- details are sketchy but in a few months time, if they ship (where have we heard this before) all of these boxes may become obsolete.

here it is- looks cool- we'll have to see what happens

If I'm not mistaken, I think we are looking at early next year for the Reo VV...I could be wrong. Just sitting here assessing if I could squeeze that Russian prefab pcb into my Woodvil...lol!

Dejas Vous all over again-
I refuse to get excited over anything that isn't at least in beta yet.
