@katdarling - hard not to get excited when reading all the comments on this thread. By and large, people seem to be very satisfied with this mod. This will be my first mod and finally decided that VV is not where I wanted or needed to go right now. A solid 3.7V mod and then just play with the atty ohm range to find the sweet spot if about as technical as I am prepared to go right now. lol. There have been some very informative posts on this thread regarding that. Almost thought about a LT but seems like unless you want to experiment with a truckload of cartos, tanks, DCC coil things, etc. etc. ... well ... I'm too old for all that. I just want something that works well, gives a satisfying vape and lets me taste the flavors (of the highest importance). Sure seems like this is the one.

@tearose50 - thanks for the discount tip!! I had read about it in previous posts but didn't know if it was still applicable. Every penny saved is a bonus!

Thanks everyone - you have been very helpful! It is much appreciated!!

Hi all! I'm brand new to these forums and vaping. But I'll probably be spending a lot of time here.

My Vmod XL just came in the mail today and i'm currently waiting for the battery to charge. It's taking forever! I have a bottle filled up with Boba's Bounty ready to go!

I just wanted to say hello to you other Vmod owners. This thread helped a lot when I was deciding on a piece- so thanks! I'm off to have what will hopefully be one of my last analogs. :)

Thanks everyone. I absolutly love it so far. I tried vaping about a year ago and wound up stopping. I had am xhaler that I dropped and broke. A cartomizer broke off inside of the threading to the xhaler. While I was trying to fix it I went back on analogs. I was so discouraged that I just stuck to analogs for a year.

One of the things I hate about ecigs is dealing with the juice. With the xhaler it always seemed to get everywhere. No matter what I did the outside wound up caked with the stuff along with my pockets, hands and just about everything else. With this Vmod that's not a problem anymore! There is no juice to be found anywhere and my hands are sticky-free!

Right now I'm even dripping in it with a 510 atomizer to try out my different avejuice liquids with no problems whatsoever. I put an empty tank in it and every once in awhile I'm just giving it a squize and it's sucking the excess liquid into it. I love this thing. It truly is the perfect mod for me!

After a day of use and a day off analogs I just have to say...

... The Vmod XL is absolutly amazing. It's perfect for me. I have a 1.8 silo cartomizer attached to it and I'm vaping Boba's Bounty. I'm getting good, clean and satisfying vapes consistantly with zero issues. No leaks, no issues. Just simply great performance. And this battery just seems to go and go.

I couldn't be happier. Amazing product.

Well, I finally got enough funds to order the VMOD XL. Went for the kit since an xtra battery & charger will help me out. I already have a Reo Grand & Mini, but I need just one more BF since I vape 3 flavors all day long. Heard so much good about these and prefer the punch a 18650 brings, so for the $avings over another Grand, I'd say it's money in the bank!

edit: AG, just read your post about the 20% discount for Mother's Day, darnit! Oh well, 15 still ain't bad. :-(

With that savings, you can buy a Kick!

It's easy to mod the XL so you can use it.

Here's a pic I borrowed:

The copper tape provides a ground for the Kick to the negative terminal.

I can answer that one!

Kicks should be available again in a couple weeks. Current US suppliers are Nhaler, SuperTManufacturing, Altsmoke and Electronicstiks. They all have Kick threads and most have email notification list you can join.

Plus -- any 510 tip will work fine on the Vmod. The tip fits in your carto/atty--not the cone.

If you use a 306 you might want to get one of the longer delron tips.

Ah -- don't get me started on drip tips -- my collection continues to grow!

I just recently got an order of AMG Hybrid 2.0 atties from Vapage and I have to say I am really disappointed. The one I got with my VMOD a' la cart was one of the best atties I've ever used. It lasted around 12-13 days and gave some HUGE hits.

So I ordered 10 packs of the 2.0s - at $17.99 a pack, that is NOT cheap.

Dropped the first one onto my XL and it barely makes a hit at all. Have been using it for a few days now waiting for it to get better and it is not. Very disappointed. Looks like I'll be contacting Vapage for an exchange. What a shame.
