I like big clouds and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
When a girl walks in with an itty bitty vape and blows a big cloud in your face.....

The whole competition thing is just hilarious.
It's like competitive eating, but with less hot dogs.
:)
I've never actually seen anyone "blow
Clouds in someone's face".
Then again, no sane person would blow a cloud in my face, so maybe it happens. ;)

Im always courteous of others, but when I smoked I didn't give a damn what anyone thought about it.

Many don't like cloud chasers because it is a different style of vaping than the style they enjoy. Unfortunately, there are vapors that look down upon, or make snide derogatory comments about other vapors that vape differently than they do, look different than they do, are in an age bracket much younger than their own, and even those who vape for different reasons than they do.

I'm an equal opportunity commenter.

I don't hate cloud chasers......I just hate almost everybody :p
Categorizing why people hate on something is next to impossible, everyone has their own reasons, all of them likely as silly as the next.

Oh, and if any of you every see me "whip and nae nae"....please, it is a serious cry for help, put me out of my misery ASAP!

So I am rather new to vaping. I started about 6 months ago to quit smoking, it worked. But I recently got into cloud chasing. Because I like it and my friends do it. But It seems like every where I go, every video I watch, every website I go to is full of utter hatred toward cloud chasers? I know the internet is a very toxic place. But some groups of people seem to be "cool" to hate. And cloud chasers are on that list. And they seem to get the hate from non vapers and vapers alike. Can anyone tell me why this is? I mean, do the clouds in some way hurt people? Or is it more un-founded hate that has no real basis other than "It's cool to hate on them!" Such as most hate is.
I can't speak for anyone else but I don't like cloud chasers because of the way they treat the rest of us. when you treat people like they are second class citizens and in every way inferior to you then you can't expect them to like you.im too old to worry about whats cool.

I enjoy clouds. Not competition worthy clouds but clouds nonetheless. I enjoy clouding up my bathroom. It's the thick clouds that that gives me my fix. It may be psychological but it's what keeps me off cigarettes. When I am out in public, I can only produce whatever my Subtank Mini can produce at 35 to 40 Watts but even that can seem obnoxious to some non vapers. What gets me irked is when smokers are the ones that find me obnoxious when I vape in a smoking area.

I just have a problem with the way cloud chasers push the envelope on safety. It will be the extreme people, safety wise and with obnoxious clouds, that cause a crackdown against all vapers.
Some of these guys and gals vape 0% juice or were never addicted to nicotine. It has stopped being about getting off cigs and become a sport type thing.

I don't hate cloud chasers at all, but I do hate it when they act like anything less (or higher ohm) isn't any good or won't help you quit smoking when on the forum.

Especially when folks new to vaping - who just want to quit smoking especially - get advised to go sub ohm right off the bat from a cigalike to a 200watter with double-post build so they can chuck clouds. Drives me nuts.

Some have implied I'm an immature or inferior vaper for not cloud chasing.

I'm an old lady for crying out loud.

I don't hate cloud chasers, i don't hate anyone who does not insult me in proper way. I just disagree with the fact that cloud chasing is vaping. It's not. It's competition same like the one "my dad is stronger than your dad". You started because your friends are doing it too, if they weren't doing it what would be the point of it? The thing i used to hate is when someone is doing something like that in shopping mall, or in the bus and similar situations. Since in Canada e-cigs have ended up in a same basket like smoking, i don't see it any more. Sad part is, cloud chasing at such places has contributed a lot to get us where we are now. Regular people don't understand that even cloud chasing is nothing compared to smoking, and what they don't understand, they get frightened of. That's where the hate comes from. If a person likes to chuck clouds, and it's doing so without being intrusive, i say go ahead and blow them till you can, but when a person is a di*k headed and does it in public, that is stupid and sad. You are minority, we all are, and there is no need for such attitude. Educate people do not make them frightened, firstly educate your self, sit down in front of that computer and read all the good and the bad stuff, learn the possible hazards and benefits and go out and educate, don't be a ....., and i will love you no matter what. But when i see them vaping on RDA's in the middle of shopping mall at some super low resistance, clouding 40 square feets in one blow, i can only say what an a**hole.
I've seen them vaping in hospital, and those who vaped on some starter kits were greeted with a smile, while those who were chucking clouds were given those looks. Judge it your self, there is a responsibility in being a vaper because you represent us all, we all represent us all to the world ;) NHF, just my honest thoughts ;)

Well, if we are going to be honest, vaping started off as a sort of help to help smokers quit smoking. That is the fact and undeniable truth. To quit smoking using a vape a person really doesn't need anything more than a basic clearomizer and a solid battery. Most of us have turned it out to a hobby and a passion. Looking at someone from above is wrong, but unfortunately there is always people who don't deserve anything else due to the way they are behaving. As i've said, we are a minority, all of us, and it is our responsibility to represent our selves in best possible manner. Blowing clouds in places where you may run into disagreement is wrong and it's creating a wrong picture about us in the eyes of public. That's why i don't think cloud chasing is a way to go. Couple days ago i was in one shop here in Edmonton, and the shop was crowded. Everyone was blowing clouds. I came in to check some juices noone else carries. And so, i'm testing those juices, and the fog in the shop is so thick that you can't see the entrance doors 20 feet ahead. At one point doors are opening and in comes a mid aged guy. First thing he did, he stood for couple seconds at the doors, and then he said "omg, this place looks like an Vietnam opium shack", turned back and left. That's the problem, and that's the image we are creating....
