What is wrong with being anti social? You only have to go outside for all of 5 seconds to realize that the human race is crap and you are better off alone. Humans are loud, rude, greedy, dirty, ect ect. Computers are what ever you tell them to be. And people say I am anti social because I spend all day on a computer. but I am sure I interact with more people than they do. =) Also, when they have a computer problem they give me a call. =)

I like the way you think lol. I have become essentially nocturnal and live with my dog by choice , most people just aggravate the sh_ _ out of me .

Those were originally built differently than ours, and that word didn't mean what it means today, but the overall concept was the same.
I can't talk about their efficiency as it's against the rules.

Instead of bashing that scene, we should thank them.
Without them we wouldn't have vaping.
I agree. There is also the fact that I am one of them. Not sure if I can admit that or not.

I am sorry but you knew what the problem was when you started this thread. You say you have experienced this hate by both non vapers and vapers so i find it hard to believe that you have not heard the reasons why people from both groups feel this way. Not one acknowledgement or understanding by you in your OP as to why some may feel this way toward cloud chasers....only that your completely confused as to why some feel this way....hogwash.

As a cloud chaser at least acknowledge that some cloud chasers, not you, but some cloud chasers are the root cause and blame for why cloud chasers as a whole are disliked. Don't look to us tootle puffers or non vapers as the blame because it sounds like that is what you are trying to do. You have a problem with the way people perceive cloud chasers then looked to the cloud chasing crowd for why that is...not the vapers and non vapers.

Here is my position...i do not hate any cloud chaser, however, i have no respect for most due to behaviors i have seen displayed out in public places. Not only does it cast a negative light on cloud chasers, which you seem to totally glance over and play dumb to, but on vapers in general as a whole. So who is the problem here..me and others for feeling the way we do and why, or the behaviors displayed by the cloud chasing crowds?

Cast a bad light?
What?
To whom are we trying to impress?

Personally I show courtesy to everyone, however If you want respect, earn it.

I could care less what anyone thinks of me one way or another.

This imagined behavior of "cloud chasers" is ridiculous.

No one is "blowing clouds in peoples faces".
That's a myth that gets tossed around.

Okay, look. As I have said, many times here. If someone hates cloud chasers because there some ... holes who just so happen to be a cloud chaser, that is stupid. It is just dumb and you know it. That is like me hating all foot ball players because Some of them are jerks. Also, hogwash? Are you trying to say I am not telling the truth? If so cool your jets. I do a lot of things, lie is not one of them. I have not seen any reason at all until I started this. All I have seen is "Cloud chasers this, and that and blah blah blah!" And I have not seen anyone acting the way people keep saying they act. So that is very interesting. Maybe it is a problem with where you all live. not cloud chasers. As I am seeing a lot of other people say they have never seen it. So please just get out of here with your personal attacks. They are not welcome. And with so many people saying that they have not seen this... maybe you need to take a step back and look at yourself. Maybe the problem lies with in you? Or do you not take your own advice?

Thanks, have a good day.

I don't hate cloud chasers. But I shun people who display bad manners, and I root for Darwin in the case of unsafe builds.

Funny thing.
You never see cloud chasers bashing anyone on the forums.
However the reverse is quite common, even in this thread.

When we look at the facts, it seems quite obvious the problem isn't the cloud chasers.

So I am rather new to vaping. I started about 6 months ago to quit smoking, it worked. But I recently got into cloud chasing. Because I like it and my friends do it. But It seems like every where I go, every video I watch, every website I go to is full of utter hatred toward cloud chasers? I know the internet is a very toxic place. But some groups of people seem to be "cool" to hate. And cloud chasers are on that list. And they seem to get the hate from non vapers and vapers alike. Can anyone tell me why this is? I mean, do the clouds in some way hurt people? Or is it more un-founded hate that has no real basis other than "It's cool to hate on them!" Such as most hate is.
I don't hate it, I love it.

A bit personal question to OP to clarify things a bit...
Do you go outside often?
This is not to be taken as an offence I'm just wondering how much vaping you have observed in your daily life?
That is a very good question. I do not get out often. That is true. But I have never heard anyone talk about it either. I will ask some family members if they have seen it and get back to you all. As I only ever see anything about it on Cloud Chasing videos or on Forums online. I have never heard one thing about it IRL.

The word vape. It's been around along time. Used to be referred to Vicks Vaporizers. Then, the act of vaping to a different turn, now the word vape is used to describe our handheld

Maybe you should try earning respect if that's what you want.

Respect isn't given, it's earned.

How does one earn the right of not getting vapor being thrown in your face?
Or how respected does one have to be to not get vapor in the face?

Remember, the crackdown started when the kr808s were the "in" thing. The indoor bans aren't due to cloud chasers, they're due to some people not liking the idea of seeing something that resembles smoke indoors.

I will disagree with this.
The first indoor bans where I live and surrounding communities began in 2013, mainly by privately owned businesses.
Later in 2013 followed by several chains like ihop.

At a governmental level... between 2009 and 2012 there were 97 total laws written nationwide banning indoor vaping:
2009-3
2010-21
2011-24
2012-47
between 2013 and 2015 there were 393 total laws written nationwide banning indoor vaping:
2013-77
2014-188
2015-128

518d13efdd100f44091c97f3fb627fb4.jpg

what changed in the vaping world that might have cause such a huge increase in indoor vaping bans in these later years

I've never seen an "obnoxious cloud chaser" outside of a vape shop. I've never seen a vaper blow a cloud at anyone else, outside of a vape shop. I'm sure there are some out there, but how many people have actually encountered it, and how many just jump on the bandwagon of hating on the idea of people doing it?

As we go by personal experience, where I live "obnoxious cloud chasers" were all too common just go to any mall here, well wait, not anymore because all of the merchants got together last year and petitioned mall(s) management for a ban on indoor vaping with great success even though their individual companies might not have such a corporate policy in place. The same with other businesses/restaurants that encountered "obnoxious cloud chasers" allowed to enact indoor vaping bans even though their individual companies might not have such a corporate policy in place.
